Our passion to serve the finest authentic Indian food that reflects the distinctive cooking methods and dining experience of India’s ancient nobility. From Amritsar to Hydrabad we have an extensive menu of regional dishes that is true to it’s origin. We do not pre cook or use artificial flavourings. All our dishes are cooked from raw produce on order and takes slightly longer to prepare compared to a commercial Indian restaurant.

The Restaurant experience was excellent. We came for a leisure to the Moreton in Marsh unfortunately almost every restaurant got closed early as its sunday. But when we popped into Raj Mahal, they were ready to offer us the take away infact with extra sides even though it was closed. It was great speaking to Raj, the owner himself. He guided us with the spots nearby and offered some extra food. The food was really really good, the egg fried rice was the finest. I would recommend this restaurant to the people who comes for a visit here in Moreton-in-Marsh.

Decent Indian with Great Grilled Prawns
Nice little Indian restaurant in a charming old building with a friendly atmosphere. The grilled king prawns were the standout—cooked in the tandoori oven, with a great smoky flavor. Honestly, some of the best I’ve had.
The curries were decent, with a good bit of spice, nothing out of the ordinary but well-prepared. Overall, a solid place for a meal, and worth a visit—especially for the prawns.

We had an incredible meal at Raj Mahal. The Lamb Nihari was exceptional. It was cooked to perfection and the flavours were out of this world. Definitely worth ordering.

We ordered a take away for 12 people and could not fault the food or the service. We were greeted by very friendly and accommodating staff. We received a bottle of wine and extra starters because of the size of the order. Staff carried the boxes to the car. The food was delicious, tasty and piping hot. Highly recommend this fantastic place if you are in and around the area. Thank you for helping to make a 90th celebration one to remember.
