This low review is not a reflection of the brand and the food, is more a reflection of this location, hopefully they will make changes to bring it up to the standards of the other locations.
There was a guy supposed to clean the tables, but he was moving in slow motion, you can’t afford that in a fast food as busy as this one. Customers were getting napkins and cleaning their own tables, and the floor was a mess!! There were other employees that were very nice, so this is not a generalized problem.
I told him the catchup station is empty, he acknowledged, but not sure if he did anything about it.
Another thing was the new foam boxes, that look very cheap, plasticy and not sure if they are even that healthy! Hopefully this not a corporate push to save money, if it is, not a smart one, it takes away from the perceived quality of the food/brand.
The food was good, the chicken fingers seemed a little bit on the small side?

I visited Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers in Milford, CT. This location recently opened and was easy to find parking in the lot. We visited when they first opened in the morning, so we didn’t encounter any crowds. The restaurant is decorated well with many items of Connecticut memorabilia which was nice to see that the restaurant decor was state themed. We were able to walk right up to the counter and order. The menu consists of simply, different chicken finger meals with fries and a fountain drink. I WAS able to order their chicken finger sandwich which consisted of their chicken fingers with their special Raising Cane’s sauce. The sandwich was fresh and the chicken was hot and cooked well. Although having a sandwich with chicken fingers helped with the crunch, I think I prefer a whole, breaded breast on a bun rather than the strips, as it tended to fall apart quicker and become messy. The chicken, by itself, was very good. Dipping in the Raising Cane’s Sauce made it even better and I couldn’t get enough of the sauce for french fry dipping too. I believed you can buy more sauce. The food was of good quality and served quick with a friendly counter person even though this restaurant gets busy very quickly. By the time we had left and driven back by the restaurant at, what I would consider, a regular lunch time, the drive thru line was around the building. Raising Cane’s may be more hype than anything but the food IS good and service is fast. It’s expensive for a simple fast food meal…a family of 4 may find a better value elsewhere. I’m not sure I would visit Rasing Cane’s often, but it certainly is a restaurant destination to try.

12/7/2025 Hello everyone . It’s The Picky Eater!! We had to take a Trip to Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers. My Husband and I went there so he could get some Chicken.(recommended by a family member). We found a parking spot) after waiting to park for 15 minutes) and sat and watched the chaos for about 50 minutes. We ordered two meals, my husband ordered the 4 piece chicken fingers meal , which came with a large drink and 2 sides. He wanted the Texas bread and fries. I ordered the 6 piece chicken fingers 2 coleslaw and fries. The actual choices are minimal but I didn’t mind. I sometimes think if there are too many choices, I think frozen, microwaved, packaged and not fresh. The Staff was amazing. The young lady and the surrounding Employees and Supervisors were all amazing. They were all working hard and appeared to be very happy. Lady’s and Gentlemen and everyone in between this Chicken was Delicious , fresh and not processed. The fries were perfect for me.( I love fries). The coleslaw could use a little more seasoning and the chicken had a Few pieces of gristle. They are open to the early mornings and are still hiring. So, I hope this helps you, and as always keep in mind that this is my opinion only. P.S I got full after the fries and two Chicken Fingers

Good food, chaotic location. Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was madness. Packed parking lot, long drive thru line. The drive thru did move relatively quickly though but it was about a 20 minute total time. Very reasonable prices and very filling. The sauce is the standout, get extra. Fries were delicious, crispy, and just a tad salty. The chicken tenders need the sauce to taste good. Light breading. Texas toast is delicious. Overall, I’ll be back but will prepare for the long line.

Reviews outta their mind, Canes was goated years ago and it’s still so good today. The chicken is lightly breaded which is perfect for those health conscious, the sauce is very flavorful, and the bread is amazing. The fries are just ok as always, and coleslaw is forgettable (but you can replace with another slice of bread). The only downside is this place is crazy packed and busy, and parking can be a nightmare. The drive thru is no better. But food is 5/5 for me, but as any fast food, everyone’s got their own likes.

This is what people go crazy about? Seriously? I tried it today. Ordered the box sandwich combo. Seriously the most underseasoned, soggy chicken sandwich I have ever had. The lunch lady Edna at my schools cafeteria makes better chicken sandwiches than this place does. For comparison I went to check out Dogtown since I’ve heard so much about it and I’m a local top foodie for CT so I went there and their chicken sandwich is a 10/10 in comparisons to canes. People of Milford DO NOY give Raising Canes your hard earned money. All they have is their sauce and even then since I found the recipe to make it I have never looked back. Do yourself a favor, Your stomach deserves better food.
First pic is Canes chicken sandwich, The second is Mother clucker from Dogtown. Major difference and tastes way better.

Well let me start off by saying I was excited to try them, finally got it and this place has definitely been over hyped. The chicken is good and juicy however it taste very bland as if they didn’t season the chicken, it only taste good with the sauce but I don’t really like sauce so I don’t think I will be going back. Also the portions are not very equal, they give you a hand full of fries with the combo and I feel like it should be way more. The first time I got it they gave me a lot of fries but the second and third time it was just a tiny hand full.

I understand the establishment is brand new — and I know every new place takes time to find its rhythm. As a first-time customer, I was excited to try Raising Cane’s after hearing all the hype. However, when I asked an employee what made Cane’s special, the only response I received was that they liked the toast.
I also waited in line for quite a while, as three employees were working in one lane while only one was handling the other. When I got home, I noticed the drinks were incorrect and there were no straws in the bag.
The food was okay, but I’m hoping to give it another try once things are running more smoothly and better staffed with personnel.
I ordered three of the three fingers fries and toast drink combo, again it was ok…
