Literally eat here once a week and always enjoy it. Friendly service, strong cocktails, and large menu featuring tex mex. They bring bean/cheese dip along with the chips and salsa. They have dos equis amber on draft. I recommend the paloma margarita with chamoy/tajin rim. The prices are a little high for the area.

The meat in the tacos was a little dry and I didnt care for the side of rice, but overall it wasn’t bad!! The margarita was good and it was HUGE!! Everyone there was nice, smiling, and polite!! It is a typical Mexican restaurant, but I will probably be back!!

Absolutely fantastic. They had an extensive menu and even good vegetarian options. The service was great, they brought out a queso/bean dip that was very tasty and the salsa for the chips was top tier. We showed up as soon as they opened, which I know can be a little annoying but they were very accommodating. I would definitely go back here!

I will never order another cocktail from here.
Have visited here at least once a month for several months, and have loved it. HOWEVER, last evening we went for dinner and drinks, and received poor service and 2 of the 32 oz piña coladas that had no alcohol in them. In fact, after the first one, I asked if they put rum in it. The waiter said, “Yeah” but after the 2nd, it was the same thing. Those drinks had absolutely NO rum in them. Every other time I’ve gotten them here, they were ok–probably not as much rum as they should have had, but there was clearly rum in them. Not last night. I didn’t taste it, and didn’t feel it. They knowingly made and sold us two very large, fake cocktails!!! That’s stealing from the customer.
To make matters worse, we were ignored, and and when I mentioned it was my dinner guest’s birthday, the waiter didn’t respond; however, a few minutes later, the staff sang “Happy Birthday” to another table next to ours, but not to my dinner guest.

Located in a small strip mall this restaurant outshines expectations! From the time we walked in we were immediately greeted, seated and given our menus. Chips came out with salsa and a side of cheese/bean combo.. amazing mixture as I’ve never had it before! Food was out fast and was some of the best Mexican I’ve had along with the amount served. I recommend this to anyone coming through the Goochland area!

The food was delicious, fresh and we’ll presented. A great value. I had the tacos and wife had enchilada with creamy salad (lettuce and sour cream with a tomato. I just liked the simplicity and freshness.

I had dinner there Friday. Quick service. Food was delicious. I never had for an elotes locos before. It was a unique flavor for me that I will try again. I also had the burrito del mar. I am one of the people that does not like cilantro. Well eating soap anyway. I asked for no cilantro. No guacamole arrived with dish and no guacamole on bill so apparently it has it. It’s nice the restaurant is on top of their ingredients. No photos. I dug in quick.
