I should have walked out when I saw the stack of paper plates and plastic cutlery on the buffet table. Mind you this was Sunday dinner and the restaurant is wild to charge full price to serve on paper plates. Pollutes the environment more. Food slides all over on them. The buffet was very small and nothing had flavor. No one came to check to refill drinks or check how the food was. Didn’t even attempt to eat the ice cream they had for dessert. They store all the scoopers in water that had nats floating in it.Obviously had not been changed in awhile, if at all.Looked filthy. Both people I went with got sick later that night as well as myself. Never again and would never recommend.

Lunch buffet is back on Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 230. Pay first, canned soda, paper plates, plastic forks. $21 and some change.

10/10 . I’ve been coming here with my family since I was little, but takeout is just as good. Be sure to checkout their cooler by the front door for imported items and classic coke products.

This is what I expect from good, cheap Chinese food. Slightly sketchy, but good end product. It took only 15 minutes for them to make two orders for my friend and I. He got something with one spicy rating, it really wasn’t that spicy. Very interesting drink choices too

Good: open year round, 7 days a week. That’s uncommon around here and refreshing. Food tastes fine, nothing extraordinary. Prices are decent.
Bad: Portions are pretty small compared to Camden Island. Don’t expect leftovers.
Ugly: Dingy atmosphere. The walls and doors are dirty, most of the main area is unlit. The buffet area isn’t available, stacked with boxes.
I guess takeout is a better option, if you assume the kitchen is cleaner than the rest of the restaurant…

The atmosphere is dark and dingy, but that is not why you go here. I was served exactly what I ordered – classic American Chinese food that was filling, large, respectably cheap (~$11++ for lunch), and with plenty of rice egg roll. I left full and satisfied.
You don’t go here for some modern fusion fresh new of fancy overpriced egotistical interpretation of Chinese food. You go here for a filling, classic meal and get exactly what you expected.
Easy parking, quick seating, quick service, very straightforward experience.

Plastic silverware is not what I expect to have to eat with at a restaurant. My forks would break . Very small selection of food for the price .had to pay when we walked in. Didn’t know we wouldn’t get table service. No hot tea or drinks. Had to pay for them before we sat down. The food was not very good. I will continue to eat at Hong Kong Island

The new buffet tasted fine, just like the old days. But it’s a fraction of the size. It has many of the staples on it. But $63 for 3 people was a little high considering you have paper plates, no trays, plastic (cheap plastic) utensils, and one canned drink. I know it’s too bad they have no staffing. But this really has gone down hill. I hope they can build back even better though I’m not hopeful

I have heard so many good things about this place so we decided to check it out, at first walk into the establishment the lighting was very dim but that didn’t hide the pure filth of the area. We then found out they no longer had the buffet option (due to low staffing) very understandable so we decided on take out instead. We got our food (the gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant) and made our journey 45 minutes home only to find out 1. Part of our Pou Pou platter was missing and 2. Our chicken lomein was far from enjoyable. The noodles were mush, and the chicken was so overcooked it was very hard and dryer than the sahara desert. I called to let them know what happened and basically say I was unhappy and see what we could do about it. I just wanted a refund, however I was told i could come back and have it remade. I kindly stated that i had no interest in eating anything else from their establishment. I was not offered the refund I asked for. Basically they should have a sign that reads “enter and eat at your own risk”

Been going here for years getting takeout. Food is way better than any of Chinese restaurants nearby. Never had any problems.
