Social Profile:

In 1978, Jet’s Pizza founder Eugene Jetts was about to buy a new home. But on the way there, his passion for pizza took over. Instead, he signed a lease on a space that would become the first Jet’s location. Along with his brother and partner John, they opened the doors to Jetts Party Shoppe & Pizzeria in Sterling Heights, MI. The pizza world would never be the same. They were about to make history by offering a truly, better pizza. And now, over 40 years later, we’re at the top of the list when it comes to crave and taste. Try an authentic Detroit-Style pizza today. Only at Jet’s.

Counter-serve chain offering Detroit-style pizza with flavored crusts, plus wings & subs.

Pretty disappointed in the cheese sticks, they came out burnt and I didn’t check the order until I got home. I live 10 miles away or I would have asked for a new one. Pizza was good, got the ultimate pepperoni with turbo crust. Just sucks that for a pizza and cheese sticks it comes to $40, I feel a bit ripped off.

So I’m mad that it’s taking me this long to do a review about this place. I was super excited when Jets finally came into the North Phoenix area. This is a little slice of growing up in Detroit right in my mouth again.
If you’ve never had Detroit style pizza, it’s amazing. You get six Sicilian style pie with the squishy and airiness of like a ciabatta. Flavors are always delicious and spot on

Now here’s another reason I love this place. I come in and Joseph is helping me. My sister decided to make an order and not check out any of the discounts or anything. He actually went back in and removed almost $20 from the order by applying the discounts that she could have done. That is true customer service.

Was looking forward to trying this pizza. Very disappointed got the super special pizza. Couldn’t even taste the pizza sauce, the cheese wasn’t good, the mushrooms looked like they came out of a can, the bell peppers looked raw not cooked, crust was chewy. Got boneless chicken wings looked burnt. The bone in bbq wings did not taste like bbq sauce. Would not recommend this place at all. Also very expensive. I would want a refund that’s how bad it was.

Went there for the first time today and the deep dish was excellent. The man I talked to was very helpful with all of my questions and providing me insight on just how fresh the ingredients are. All the dough is made fresh in the morning, the cheese is imported from Italy and shredded fresh daily. Amazing place, and the taste of the pizza compliments its tedious process.

Jets was recommended by employees at Tide dry cleaners. I can see the appeal for them as the pizza is good, and at a reasonable price. I called tonight to place an order. The automated service at first had me feeling a little apprehensive. But once I asked a few questions it was very helpful and accommodating. They gave a 15% discount on my pizza… four corners Detroit style with Italian sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. The crust was good. Not too heavy, and a slight crisp. The sauce had some flavor with a fair amount of cheese. As for the other toppings, they were more generous with the sausage that was light on the flavor of fennel, and more onions than green peppers. The price for the pizza was $19+change; and with a 2-liter of Coca-Cola it was $23.20. It’s a bit far for me from where I live. If I’m in the area again and looking to get a Detroit style deep dish, I’ll stop to grab an order to go. No dining in at this location, and no public bathrooms. It’s your choice if you’re looking for delivery or take out. I prefer a place where you can dine-in if you want. The best pizza in my opinion for that in the West Valley is Deno’s; followed by Lou Malnati’s, and Lucky’s. I’ve heard there is a Rosati’s in the area, and will try them soon. Jet’s is a chain restaurant designed only for delivery or take out; not dining in.

Naomi, the supervisor at the Jet’s Pizza location on 67th Ave, handled my order with what appears to be a complete lack of competence. We provided clear instructions for our order and paid extra to ensure those instructions were followed correctly. Despite this, the level of incompetence displayed by the staff at this location is simply astonishing.
We are particularly upset because we paid for delivery to a specific address. Receiving our order delivered somewhere else and then having to deal with an employee who showed a poor attitude and seemed incapable of understanding what “delivery” means is unacceptable. I strongly caution anyone against using this location, as the standard of service and attention to detail seems to be very low. There are certainly other pizza establishments where customers can receive better service than from the employees at this particular store.
Please be aware that we have already requested a chargeback for the cost of our pizza. Furthermore, we intend to file a formal complaint with corporate. I will be following up to ensure that this issue, and the unsatisfactory service provided by the supervisor, is addressed seriously.

Been a long time customer but last night was a rip! Ordered Detroit style at 645..gotta a call at 710 they were out of dough (weird) so they switched me to basic round. Called back at 8 inquiring about the status of pizza and I was informed the manager had refunded my order and canceled it. Frustrating but no big deal except the lack of communication. 9pm my doorbell rings with a poor delivery guy dropping off the pizza. Nope I wasn’t refunded and the pizza that was dropped off was cold and obviously been sitting for some time.
Pretty disappointed.

Disappointing quality and service. After ordering our pizza and getting it home at rush hour we opened it to see that it was missing the turbo crust. When I called for a solution the gentleman who answered offered to recook it and we could come up and get it. Unfortunately that is not feasible for our family. I asked for an alternate solution such as a refund, coupon or credit to the account. After the gentlemen who answered asked his supervisor for advise he came back with the option that I should bring the pizza back and they could put the turbo crust on it because it’s a “free product”. I think this is unacceptable. Although my order was incorrect, strike one, I was asked to come back up to the restaurant, at rush hour, and get turbo crust on my cold pizza that I would get to eat 45 minutes after it was made, strike two. No thanks. We are disappointed, especially since we have always had outstanding service. A small credit or coupon would have gone a long way compared to “you get what you get.”

I ordered a pepperoni pizza here and the woman taking my order was very polite and explained everything to me thoroughly as it was my first time visiting this establishment / chain. The pizza was properly cooked, however it was not cut as well as it could have been in their case would require a sharper blade so that the ingredients didn’t shift as much as they did.

Ingredients: they are of average quality but for the price it’s a solid pizza. The sauce had a good flavor to it, but adding garlic to the crust is literally just sprinkling garlic powder around the edges. Knowing that I will make a small change next time by adding butter as well.

Execution of cooking: the crust was perfectly cooked and the ingredients had correct caramelization through the cooking process bringing up the flavors of the ingredients.

Presentation: This could have been improved a bit again with how it was cut but also having slightly more cheese could have potentially mitigated showing of the crust underneath near where it was cut at.

Reminder to myself the next time I eat here. Add extra cheese and a little extra sauce.
