Stopped by today and had a hard time choosing between all of the menu items. Today I tried the Winter Blues Bowl and it was absolutely delicious! The young lady that made my food was very nice as well. I can’t wait to take my family there!

Mixed review here, as the Acai bowl was good and had good flavor, fresh. Service was great as well and moved through the line quickly. Was turned off a bit because dogs were allowed inside and with food being served, was not too happy with that. Spoons are a little weak to cut through the frozen Acai. Atmosphere is a little loud inside as well. Overall good experience but some improvements needed as well. See photos for menu and prices.

So glad Roots opened in Ebensburg, it’s our family’s favorite place to grab a healthy treat! Love the staff, atmosphere and most of all the açaí bowls!

Such a great place! I love the food they serve and their beverages are so unique. Everything I’ve had from them over the past year whether at their shop or at vendor events has never disappointed. I definitely recommend checking them out!

This is a conflicting post, I am grateful for fruits and smoothies out there, but I was a bit upset with my experience. I get the hype, “woohoo! A smoothie place, finally, somewhere for some healthful options!” I was hyped too, until this most recent experience. I’m vegan. It’s not for everyone, but we are egregiously outnumbered in the food industry in America in terms of what is available that we can trust. As someone who also needs to be mindful of sugar intake, I err on the side of trying to avoid added sugars and focus on natural sugars. That’s all cool and great, but it was excruciatingly painful to try and create my own smoothie because they are all “premade” (portioned into cups kept in a freezer with the ingredients). This is the first place I’ll stop you. I’m here for healthful food that makes me feel good, not fast food. I don’t mind waiting if I know it’s prepped fresh. Sure, it’s frozen, but that just screwed me over for smoothies that have yogurt in them. Secondly, I decided to opt for the mint chip, thinking that’d be a safe, vegan bet. Yummy spirulina and peppermint for my gut health… and then I tasted it. I went back up to the counter to find upon asking that the “flavor” comes from Monin syrups. The menu does not say “peppermint syrup,” it simply says “peppermint.” Having worked at a smoothie bar that put health first, I assumed they’d use the extract or powder of peppermint like we had. I was soooooo wrong. The sweet beet smoothie does not have “pomegranate” in it. It has pomegranate syrup. Furthermore, if this is how the smoothies are made, then the nutritional facts on the main website should at least have a section for “sugar!” This should be advertised (see attached photo for absence of sugar)!!!! Monin syrup, although predominantly composed of cane sugar, is not friendly for those of us who have to be mindful of our glycemic index!!! Please ask before you complete your order exactly what is in the smoothie/bowl (bowls are made with sorbet base, generally consisting of additives like cane sugar)!!!! 🙁

This place is great! Everything was neat and clean and everything tasted phenomenal! My daughter got something she didn’t like, and they remade it for her just the way she liked for no fee! 10 out of 10!!!! We love this place and will definitely be back!

Yummy smoothies and avocado toast. Wish they would offer fresh made salads and maybe a soup of the day or something. Staff isn’t always very friendly but I still like to stop for a healthy treat.
