This burger, The 501, is basically a cheeseburger with a ham and cheese sandwich as a topping. It was amazing! Also had fried cheese curds for the first time in my life, delicious! Great little place. Friendly service, fair prices, good food.

Okay. It was an early Sunday evening, so I’ll give them that. We took visitors on the rotary lights walk… it’s been years since I’ve been to 501, but with limited selection, I remembered that I was fairly impressed with the business. So, we stopped there with our guests, obviously local hangout, don’t mind a publicly displayed mess. The bartender was friendly and professional, we stayed for a couple, however, I will remember this experience the next time I’m looking to entertain out of towners.

I walked in and I felt like I just let myself into a strangers house. It was obviously all regulars, who knew each other. They all stared at me when I walked in. It was awkward. The atmosphere is a little bleak. I sat at the bar and had a cheeseburger and curds. Food was good but not great. Value for the money was excellent!

Excellent food options for a bar. Quality is on par for bar food. Drinks were good. The night of my visit service was extremely slow (low crowd) which was a disappointment, but interactions were good when we actually had them.

We’ve enjoyed going here for the wings. They used to have a special on Wednesdays, but no longer. Tried some of their burgers this last time and they looked better than the pictures in the menu and tasted delicious. Several pool tables and a friendly bar atmosphere.

This is some of the best fish I have had, the breading was perfect. The two ladies working the bar were attentive and polite. The bar itself looks kind of dull, but it is a great place to eat and drink !
