The servers here could be more friendly and attentive, feels like you have to chase them down. While the atmosphere here is pleasant, the energy seem negative. The beer selection is below average. The tacos are alright but could use way more kick, that being said the shells where awesome. They do have 10 tv. And lots of Wisconsin sports memorabilia. Improving the lighting will make the play seam less dreary.

Attended a family gathering. The chicken was amongst the best I have ever eaten! The beverages were good. The service was good. All of the staff was friendly and attentive. If I lived near Mario’s, I would definitely be there on a regular basis.

Pizza is pretty good. Can’t get it sliced pie cut for some inexplicable reason.
Half price pizza on Mondays, dine in only. (I understand why, but it would’ve been nice to get a heads up when ordering or maybe put that right next to it on the menu under the Specials section…)

My son brought carryout to my house for dinner with our family. My order was wrong. I ordered Italian style cod but received a dried up BURNT, seasonless piece of cod instead. My side was a baked potato which was also dried up and burnt. An absolutely terrible dinner and a total rip off!

We have been going to Mario’s for years. The food is kind of hit or miss, you have to know what to order. The Pizza Bomber is a great sandwich and I have never been disappointed with that, their Saturday night rib special used to be my favorite, I’m sad they got rid of that. Their Italian food is good too. Their prices are fair I will say that, this is mainly the reason we keep coming back. The waitress is kind of abrasive (if you know what I mean) she comes off rude but she can be friendly if you get to know her. If you have a party larger than 4 don’t expect them to move the tables for you. You will be doing the moving. The main reason for my low service rating is because the food took forever. We were there on a Sunday night (after 7pm) there was hardly anyone eating there. Of course the bar was full (hence great atmosphere) but I believe we were one of a few tables occupied. We waited over an hour for 2 burgers, a salad, and an order of stuffed shells. I think these are relatively easy dishes to make and there’s no reason it should have taken that long. There was also a group that came in and got served much quicker than we did, almost like there was some preference there. Put it this way, it will be a while before we come back.

A little pricey but it is like that all over. The staff is great. Good food. The pizza was good. My son and I shared that. My wife had a chicken salad and my daughter had baked cod. We all liked our food. I would say give it a try.
