The worst pasta in any American restaurant I’ve ever been to!! It looks like leftover food! Way over-cooked, no taste at all. It was supposed to be topped with a garlic and wine sauce, and I could not sense any garlic wine flavor at all, just like plain pasta but way overcooked!

My husband and I stopped here for dinner during our stay (we are from CT). The food was excellent! I ordered the fried haddock and scallops and it was fabulous! The food was served hot (to the point I had to wait a minute or so for it to cool down). The fish was cooked to perfection and the scallops were melt in your mouth good!!! The service was good too, the waitress did a great job managing all the tables (we came during the dinner rush). I see the other reviews saying the service was bad or there were long wait times, we did not experience this whatsoever! I highly recommend this place, the food was terrific!!!

Never had fish tacos before but these were delicious. The last time I was there I think I had a burger but really didn’t remember so it wasn’t as memorable. But with the new chef, these were unexpected. Service was a bit slow.

Update: well the new Chef has moved on since I was there over the summer. It’s a shame.

I ordered the Beer Battered Haddock Burger and it was not worth the $15 I paid. The fish piece was only as big as the bun it sat on, there was no crunch when biting into it and there were three white pieces of something I assumed to be lettuce. And even they weren’t fresh. I have eaten take out from here before and have always been pleased. This was a terrible sandwich considering what I paid for it. Do not waste your money.

Always great. Staff is amazing. Friday is Prime Rib night. If restaurant is full we eat in the bar. Love the boneless wings, fried cheese curds, calamari (on specials), and fish and chips. When they have the Jonesport desserts we eat them. Great job 44N!!!!!

If I could give zero stars, I would! Made reservations well in advance. Waited 3 hours after placing our orders for our food!!! Watched people get seated and served as we sat and waited for our orders to arrive. Obviously no one is managing this restaurant! There was no organization at all. When the orders finally did arrive they were wrong, incomplete. We ordered off the menu, no crazy or special meal requests – two of our party were small children who ordered off the kids menu. Our 2 egg meal came with 1 fried egg!!! Terrible!!!

Worst restaurant we’ve ever eaten at!!! We were the first ones in the restaurant at 4 PM and were there for two hours. Right when we sat down, we could smell the smell of urine. The waitress was nice, but it was her first night serving. Many things were not available. My daughter’s ordered the kids pasta meal, which was $10 and did not include the drink. When their food came It was maybe 3/4 of a cup of angel hair and sauce that tasted just like tomatoes. It is literally the only time I’ve seen my children not eat pasta. My son ordered steak, which was almost $30. He ordered it medium rare and it was extremely overcooked. There were literally two choices of vegetables-coleslaw tasted sour. I ordered the stuff stuffed. The shrimp was insanely overcooked. You could barely cut it with a knife and the stuffing which was most of the dish was mushy and sweet. I couldn’t eat it. Most of the stuff seem like it came out of a frozen box. of course w still tipped decent, but our bill was almost $200 and that was with two kids meals and 4 adults. The atmosphere was very confusing. It kind of looks like Grandma‘s kitchen, nothing like a pub I’ve ever eaten at. when we left It was around 6 o’clock and there were so many tables available. I’m guessing people avoid this place like the plague. do the same and don’t waste your mind.

Excellent service and very good food. As prices for eating out goes I thought it was very reasonable. Had baked stuffed scallops and shrimp and it was very good.
