Small town watering hole with great dishes. Come for the food (if you can eat for it) and vibe. Be prepared to wait for the entire evening for food and be ready to substitute food based on what is still in their inventory that day.

We can’t tell how the food was because we never got ours! We ordered and an hour later still just had our drink and a roll. We thought if we changed our order for take out it would be quicker. After an hour they hadn’t even started our order yet. We cancelled our order and she gave us a ticket for our iced tea and a roll! We drove down the road to a trailer on the south side of the road. Great fish and chips. Would never recommend 54 Degrees North.

Yum!!! I used to come to this place years ago, and the Rodeo burger was always my fav. I was so happy to visit and this place is exactly the same with quality. Thank you 44 North – what a gem!!!

To start off, I wouldn’t give this any stars if I could! On average we have eaten here 3-4 times each summer for the past 12 years and it was great food! The restaurant changed hands this last year and we thought the food would still be good. WRONG! Wanted clam dinner, they were all out. All out of mozzarella sticks. Cheese curds were ok. Boom Boom shrimp were not like they were in the past.(average) Rib eye steak was well over done and half grizzle. The fried haddock was dry, well over cooked, dark brown and soft crust (If you could call it crust) Waffle fries were cold and soft. Its the first time we did not eat our meal and left it on the table. By far the worst meal we have had at any restaurant!

Waited almost an hour and half and our family only received our drinks and a lukewarm bowl of chilli that had clearly been left sitting for quite awhile before being brought out. Tables that 15 minutes after us started getting their meals. No one bothered to come and check on us or tell us why there was such a wait. No employee could be found, or flagged down, to even ask for a status update. Left without receiving food. Very disappointing.

This is, hands down the worst restaurant I have had the displeasure of eating in. To start the whiskey was watered down. The French onion soup had no soup, it was just soggy croutons! Everything we ordered was cooked from frozen. Except the lettuce . After finishing dinner all of us had stomach issues. Stay away from this place at all costs!! -12/10 do not recommend!!

Average environment with great pasta! Would probably return again, and recommend to anyone staying nearby. There are not many other food places to compare too close by, but I was not disappointed in the least.

Chicken on the salad over cooked and rubbery. I’ve had better fried calamari out of a bag from a grocery store. No seasoning on the burger at all. Customer service was non existent.

After over 1.5 hours I got a bowl of chilli to go with my drinks. The chilli was good, but luke warm. Maybe after they get some better staff I will think of going back.

its just a little Restaurant with 10 tables, its really lovely and friendly, the atmosphere is great. The Restaurant is all you need for eating and drinking …..if you only wanna drink they have a separate Bar behind the Restaurant.The Food comes fast and is just excellent. We will come back again.
