Tried the maple pig for the first time and so happy I did! Got seated right away but it was still early in the afternoon. Our server Wyatt was SUPER attentive and had some great recommendations. The food came out quick and was so filling and piping hot. They definitely aren’t shy on the amount of meat you get. Will be going back soon!

Overall I had a great experience here the other night! I was up for a work trip and decided to swing in and give it a try. Although it is a little pricey, like most things are nowadays, the quality is good. If I find myself stopping by again, I’d probably try a different main meal. But one thing is for sure………I’d 1000% get the ZINGER CAKE again! I’d eat an entire cake worth of that! Usually I don’t get restaurant desserts because they’re overly pricey. I’m very glad I did in this case. Bravo to whoever created that masterpiece Til next time PI

I had a great experience at the Maple Pig!!! Wyatt was my server and since it’s being my first time in Presque Isle, Maine and my first time in the restaurant, I asked for his recommendation. He came through perfectly! The all sampler appetizer platter was so tasty and delicious! The pork butt sandwich with handmade onion rings hit it home! Although, it was too much food form me, I was able to take take it on the road. Wyatt, was awesome! When I first entered, its was pretty empty and not busy at all. Dinner shift was just starting but by the time I was leaving, the place was filled and they went on a little wait. The manager and crew handled it all well. If I should be back to Presque Isle, Maine, I’ll be sure to stop in again! And if anyone is up that way and looking for some good food and vibe, The Maple Pig is your go to! Enjoy!!!

Fantastic food that comes in filling portions. If your looking for the best barbecue in town The Maple Pig takes the title by a landslide. They have a variety of sauces that pair beautifly with thier perfectly tender pulled pork, nachos topped with pure heavenly goodness, not to meantion the moutwatering burgers. This establisment has reasonable pricing and wonderful service. I enjoy the tavern style bar, the largest selection of beer on tap, and liquors to take the edge off a stressful day. The atmosphere is also wonderful, as well as the bar they offer table seating and during the summer months they offer outdoor seating. The bartenders are friendly and the staff is knowledgeable about thier menue. Definitely worth the visit.

My husband and I ate here last night, and the food was so amazing we are returning tomorrow while still in town. We are foodies from Florida, and I wish we had such an amazing restaurant near us. We had the brisket burger (amazing flavor, tender and wish I could buy a jar of the maple bacon jam that’s on it), the mac n cheese (best I have ever eaten, creamy and melt in your mouth goodness topped with more cheese), the sirloin steak tips (huge chunks of a cut up sirloin, the most tender sirloin I have ever had and amazing flavor). The corn ribs for an app were amazing as well, I will try to recreate these since we live in FL and probably will never be in this area again. We also took a slice of the Zinger cake for dessert (huge portion and also really good). I can’t recommend this place enough, the food is amazing…and the service as well! We are going back tonight for the smokehouse wings and a coal fired pizza that looked amazing. All of their signature BBQ sauces were also great! Leftovers for lunch pictured.

Coming from two foodies, this was the BEST service and food we’ve had in a long time! I never leave reviews, but this was much deserved! We had the brisket burger and pulled pork sandwich, both were the best we’ve ever had! Service at the bar was spectacular!

There are still some rough spots the new restaurant needs to work out.
The restaurant was busy and I’m sure that did not help the situation. Unfortunately the staff seemed to be in borderline chaos mode. We waited a few minutes and were seated. Service was very slow. The menu is well balanced with something for everyone. We ordered appetizers which were forgotten and brought out with the meal, but they were cold. The waitress was too preoccupied to ask how things were. The food came and some was piping hot, but the grilled cheese was cold. Everything seems to get cooked very well done, even the chicken fingers which were very dark and dry. We ordered a round of drinks from the bar which the ticket “got lost” which is not the end of the world but the waitress was infatuated with a table other friends and didn’t return for 20 minutes. We told her to forget about it and tried to explain why we were frustrated. She don’t want anything to do with us and had someone else bring the check. I laughed to myself as she brought the manager out to talk to her table of friends but not to the disappointed customer with a bad experience. Our experience lasted well over an hour, most of which was not enjoyable due to waiting. Maybe we will go back once things get ironed out.

I had the pigs in a blanket and the brisket in Mac parfait. It was amazing! Only thing I would say is the maple mustard seemed to be missing the maple hahaha but other than that it was amazing!!!!
