I had the pleasure of coming to Nunzio’s for my birthday with my wife. Everything about this place was a slam dunk. The atmosphere was incredible. It had a feeling like home inside. Chris was constantly moving around to each table to make everyone, including us feel like priority customers. The food was the best part. We started off with the meatballs. I can’t recommend these more! The flavor of every dish was spot on. If you love a good NY style pizza, you’ll love Nunzio’s. The food doesn’t feel like a job, it’s an art carefully curated with the best flavors and spices. This place is worth more than 5 stars.

Nunzio’s has been in our rotation before it changed hands from the original owners a few years back. The pizza was the main attraction for us along with the unpretentious, at home, byob atmosphere. Since then, despite managerial changes adjustments the decor, some menu improvements, and price increases, we kept coming back for the pizza which continued to be true the original recipe and the star attraction. Until now.
The other night when we walked in the tables had been replaced with picnic style tables and benches which were not too comfortable. When we asked our server about the change in furniture, she told us that happened after a new partner appeared. We ordered our usual pie with salad and asked for some bread. Our server responded to our bread request by saying “I’ll see if they have any”. The salad was the same, the bread never came. We held out hope, but when the pie came out it was bit larger, the crust was thinner, and missing the usual flavor, the sauce was barely noticeable and pedestrian, even the pepperoni was sliced too thin and lacked flavor. It wasn’t bad, but the recipe changed. We looked at each other, continued sipping our wine and knew we probably wouldn’t be coming back. We did enjoy the past several years though! Thank you for that!

The best comfort Italian food I’ve experienced in Jersey.

The food was incredible from start to finish. Do yourself a favor and order the garlic bread. Still thinking about it…
Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted and full of flavor, the kind of food that makes you slow down and savor each bite.

The tiramisu was light, creamy, and balanced with that perfect espresso bite — it was the highlight of the night and easily one of the best I’ve ever had.

If you’re looking for a place that delivers both comfort and amazing food, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

I had Nunzio’s on my hit list after seeing Dave rate it an 8.6, but it fell way short of expectations. For me, this is a 6.2 at best. The pie was soupy, with flat, mediocre flavor from the sauce and cheese, and an overpowering oregano taste that dominated every bite. Although it’s naturally floppy, it’s also somewhat thin with some crisp and holds together neatly if folded. The quality is solid even if the flavor isn’t, so I can’t call it objectively bad, just not my taste. Still, $18 for a decent 12-inch personal pie is criminal. I came in hungry and hopeful, but left feeling dirty and disappointed.

I order from Nunzio’s at least twice a month. It’s always fresh, in large amount, and just as good as the last time! I went in for pickup once and everyone was so kind and the kitchen was very clean. Today, uber forgot an item and they personally drove to my house in a flash! I love it there!

Nunzios used to be good but apparently they no longer care about their reputation. Ordered a medium pizza for delivery. Ridiculously, it cost $36 and arrived ice cold. I called to ask if their deliverer had a thermal carrier and was told we have nothing to do with the delivery and I should call the carrier. It seems to me that they should ensure that the people delivering their product has proper equipment. Go elsewhere to someone who cares!

Pizza for dinner, and a delicious one. Our first time at Nunzio’s and we really enjoyed it! 12 inch pies with thin, crunchy crust. The Soppressata pie was outstanding with delicious hot cherry peppers. On this cold day, the soup of the day was amazing with fresh toasted garlic on top Our waitress was very welcoming and attentive. We enjoyed it tremendously. Street parking, and the restaurant is not accessible, with steps leading up the front door.

Nunzio’s Pizza has seemingly been around since the beginning of time. It’s one of those iconic spots in Long Branch that everyone has been to. The pizza is good and the service is pretty good too. It’s not my favorite pizza in the area but I can’t complain. The prices seem to be fine as well.

NUNZIO’s in Long Branch underwent some amazing new changes, it has such a cozy atmosphere from the lighting, the black and white movies, to the music, it all just fits together perfectly. There isn’t anything on the menu I don’t love. The Upside Down Sicilian pizza , Gnocchi Sorrentino and Chicken Milanese are just a few of my favorites. It’s cash/card and they also deliver through Uber eats. If you are in the area stop by. You won’t be disappointed.
