We ended up here while one of the parades was passing. Packed but still got us a table relatively quick. Food was excellent. Service good. Atmosphere great. Lively feel. Outdoor seating and a band playing. They had a line at the bar for to go drinks, moved pretty well considering they were extremely busy. Overall good Mexican food in the heart of downtown Covington.

Delicious Mexican restaurant with reasonable prices. My girlfriend and I stopped in after a Sound Bath at Columbia St Landing. We got some items off the A LA Carte menu and the portions were large and the prices were moderate. Great place for a quick lunch or to sit and talk. There were 2 birthdays the day I went and the staff sang happy birthday. It was a delight. Good food, good vibes. I will be back.

They definitely dropped the ball tonight. I ordered Togo, like I do somewhat regularly and my order got mixed in with door dash orders or something, so when I finally asked about my order becaus esomeone else had walked right in and out with their order, it had been ON THE FLOOR behind the host stand for 10-15 min…. unfortunate, because I usually enjoy eating here a lot.

5/23/22 Finally dined at the new location and it did not fail to impress. Service was good, food was great… and served timely during lunch. Had the mesquite chicken salad with ranch… which is not listed on the menu. Upped my rating to a 5 since they provided exactly what was expected. Great place.
Previoisly….Met up with a few work colleagues for apps and drinks. Previously I have dined at the old location, but this new site has a much better atmosphere. This can clearly be seen from the increased volume of diners in the evening times. We sat outside and had adequate service. Tex-mex restaurants often have a different pace of service, so I’ll just just describe it as friendly and as expected. Everyone in the party enjoyed their food and drinks.

Meh… nothing to write home about. Im not sure if they are serving dehydrated beans in a bag or what, but they were terrible and orange. I ordered a shredded chicken taco salad. The bottom of the crunchy shell was a soggy mess, and it had shredded lettuce, the shredded chicken mixed together with sour cream, maybe(?) and cheese. My husbands tacos were ok. There are better choices for lunch in downtown Covington.

Absolutely my new favorite Mexican restaurant. Crawfish queso dip? Superb. Beats even the Bostons. Big spicy burrito was superb and the margaritas were perfect. And pet friendly? The best.
