Social Profile:

We started out in 1983. Our goal was to offer a friendly and welcoming spot where our neighbors could stop by to grab a frozen cocktail and kick back.Little did we know we were paving the way for a frozen drink trend that would shape a category and become part of Louisiana local culture.David Briggs Jr. was the mastermind behind this phenomenonpassing out samples on Bourbon Street and innovating the craft with a chilling machine that made our frozen daiquiris instantly available. We brought the Big Freezy to the Big Easy, dat is.

Outpost of a New Orleans-inspired chain offering frozen cocktails in a lively setting.

Full of cigarette smoke and a couple of drunks sitting on stools yelling across the bar at each other, very loudly.
The barmaid was by herself working on a Friday evening, so service took about 10 mins for her just to take my order.

Great time when I go in, but they always seem to mess up my daiquiri whenever I go through drive thru. My last drink was suppose to me a daiquiri, but it had so much liquor in it that I couldn’t even enjoy it.

I pulled into the drive-through of this hwy 30 location and ordered a large 1/2 peach and 1/2 strawberry daiquiri for $9 and wasn’t offered the 2 for $10. I also received a watered down daiquiri with little to no alcohol! This place is cheating us and laughing in our faced. The manager Lauren made excuses for the poor quality and wouldn’t give me the name of the manager on duty yesterday around 5pm. Buyer be ware! I will never patronize this place again…..They deserve 0 stars…

Bought two mugs as soon as we rolled into town. We already knew we would be regulars. Being from out of state, this is a game changer. Delicious daiquiris and the refills on the cups were only $5. This location offers inside seating, which we did not participate in. The other location in Gonzales, located on Airline was also very friendly and efficient. Cannot wait to visit family again and frequent this shop. All of our visits were great and drinks were on point.

Still savouring the drink! There were so many to chose from, we got confused and asked the cashier to recommend…great choice!

Went through the drive through and was abruptly told by a sunflower seed shell-spitting employee, that the drink I had ordered via the online menu was no longer offered. I ordered a different drink and only thought it was OK. I was accosted by a heavy hand of cheap booze. Spanky’s daiquiris are way better.

Strawberry + Pina Colada + Amaretto/Pineapple = My Always Favorite. I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy to get $5 daiquiri refills.

I wish I would’ve listened to some of the reviews here before wasting 40 minutes in the drive thru line on Saturday. I pulled up to the drive thru and was the 3rd vehicle in line. Took about 15-20 minutes to get up to the window. I drove off after waiting 20 minutes at the window. This place is a joke and apparently doesnt care about a solid business model. Take your business elsewhere.
