I’ve passed this place a million times and never paid attention until now. Fantastic Peruvian chicken experience: the 1/2 white meat chicken, yucca fries, and plantains were all so flavorful. My sister ordered the chicken saltados over yucca friends (instead of regular fries—pro move IMO) which was flavorful and good.
The staff is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is clean. I won’t be sleeping on this place anymore. Can’t wait to come back!

I ordered the 1/2 white chicken meal with double servings of plátanos maduros, and everything was delicious. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and the maduros were perfectly sweet and cooked just right. The service was excellent… friendly, attentive, and fast. Overall, a great experience and definitely a spot I’d come back to. Almost forgot about the carrot cake. It was good, but for the price, it should be a larger serving.

I drove past Super Chicken for several years while driving to and from Springfield Mall. The guy in the cheesy chicken suit, or was it a giant blow up chicken?), that was out front when it initially opened had been a turn off. A few months ago, my wife was looking online for places we could get Peruvian chicken and saw that Super Chicken was the highest rated Peruvian Chicken in our area. We found it to be delicious, so we’ve kept going back. I prefer the green hot sauce and my wife prefers the mild sauce. They don’t skimp on the sauce and I sometimes have extra. We have only had the black beans and rice as a side. We love Super Chicken.
I do pickup only, and love the big screen TV. There’s always news or a big game, which prevents boredom. The service is quick and the packaging is satisfactory for the drive home. I’ve used the restroom once, and it was reasonably clean.

I don’t know the guy they give the orders to, but everytime I go there he’s cool as heck. We both nod, nuff respect. The chicken is seasoned right! I get my food, nod and head home. I shower, eat, chill for a minute, then fall back. The next morning I burp and can still taste the chicken. Dam!, I want more. Everytime

Food is delicious. The chicken was well seasoned and juicy. The chicken with the rice were the best combination. We ordered the family meal with two sides and it fed 4 people comfortable, and we had leftovers. Overall, delicious chicken and well priced.

The staff here are very courteous and engaging and strive to get your order right. While waiting for my meal, the cashier checked in with me to ensure that I wanted my order to go and how many/which sauces that I wanted.
I found the chicken to be flavorful, although the preparation did fall victim to having dried out wings that many Peruvian chicken places suffer from except for Sardies in my experience. Rectifying this aspect to the chicken would help its rating to increase.
The horchata and green beans were standouts to me in addition to the fried plantains, and the chicken breast itself was tender and not too salty.

So happy and surprised with our experience. Main reason we came is because it’s halal so we were able to eat there because of the halal meat. The food was so delicious and well made. You can tell it’s not frozen food, it’s made very well. I appreciated the cleanliness, the worker cleaned down tables after folks were done and she waived bye to us which was kind and made us feel welcomed especially since this was our first time.

Food was pretty good. Coworkers always raved about this place. I tried the 1/4 dark meat chicken with yucca fries and fried rice. The chicken and fries were good. I didn’t care for the rice. It was pretty dry.

12/17/24 – Another delicious meal from Super chicken! I tried a new dish for me – Lomo Saltado and it was amazing and my new favorite dish so so good and definitely recommend! The 1/2 white chicken was delicious as always!
