Had an amazing breakfast at Chace’s Café! The food was wonderful and the service was great! Everyone was so kind and attentive. We enjoyed two full meals for only $28 and still had leftovers! You really can’t beat that anywhere.
I love the cozy character and charm of the café, and I can’t wait to visit again. After sharing photos of our food with my family, they’re excited to check it out next time they’re in town.
Thank you for a wonderful breakfast and experience. God bless!

Love the food here. Every time I come I finish my plate. Chef is very friendly and so are the patrons that come in. It’s like a family gathering because even though no one knows each other it’s impossible to not speak, that’s how cozy it is. I would recommend this spot if you’re looking for food that is made exactly how you ask for it. Just went there today and as uou can see from my plate I enjoyed everything.

I’d love to give this place a better review because it is a black owned business. Quite a bit overpriced. $15 for a fish and grits and just ONE, slim, piece of fish? It appears it was battered in-house though, so that’s a plus. As I’m eating and typing my bread is clearly STALE. Kind of disappointing as the owner, Chase, was pretty friendly. But to know I wasn’t from Pgh (from NY, home of a simple deli) and boasted his black business, kind of shady to do a sista like that lol. I doubt I’d be back, maybe if I’m starving and in the area again. This was my 2nd choice after Waffles incaffeinated was closed! Unfortunately, I would’ve gotten WAY better bang for my buck at Waffles Incaffeinated SMH

My family and I celebrated a birthday brunch here. The owner was very accommodating in allowing our large party to dine there. He allowed us to rearrange the tables so we can fit our party of 15 in comfortably. The gesture made for a great time. As large as the party was he got all that food cooked and served in good time. Each meal he made was delicious. The pancakes were soft, fluffy and delicious! The omelettes were very tasty along with the home fries. My favorite was the shrimp, grits, eggs and toast! It’s a must have. My son was glad to be able to get a classic cheese burger and fries. He said it was ‘bussin’ lol.. the only things that was missing for me was a mimosa in a beautiful glass. I will be back!

The menu is useless because it doesn’t tell you ingredients so you’re left to use google review pics to try and decipher options. I ordered shrimp and grits, which based on everything seemed to be plain grits with shrimp. They also had a loaded option which looked to have onions and peppers. I don’t like all the added stuff so I got the regular. When my husband brought it home it was not plain and had everything in it. I picked it all out and ate it. I blame myself bc we couldve called and asked but the menu should have descriptions.

I also ordered a side of crispy bacon that was crispy (thank you) and 2 sides of hash browns that DID have a description and said “shredded potatoes with seasoning” and were $4 each. What they actually were was shredded hash brown patties soaked in grease…each for $4?! That price was already too much but for 1 patty? Wow. My husband got an omelette without onions and it wasn’t even an omelette, it was just rolled up? And lastly, my scrambled eggs were also dripping in grease/butter. Not at all worth $50.

Owner is friendly, helpful, fun and informal. Menu is varied with some interesting fish possibilities even at breakfast. We opted for more traditional breakfast items. Everything was delicious. Hashbrowns were crispy and nicely browned. Bacon was done as requested. Eggs were done perfectly. I requested a pancake instead of sides and it was sweet and delicious. Coffee was ok, only thing not excellent. Place is small, only a few tables. There are maybe two outdoor seats but they’re right at the road. Individuals can eat there easily but you may be at a table with other people.

For sure a hidden gem! Perfect location, it’s amazing not having to go far into Carson. Plenty of seating available, the woman who took my order was very pleasant and helpful. The music playing softly in the background gave a relaxed vibe. Can’t rave enough about the food. Food was steaming hot when I received it and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was exactly how I wanted it. If you’re second guessing, you need to GO!

I recently visited Chace’s Café in Pittsburgh and absolutely loved it! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, inviting ambiance — cozy décor, soft lighting, and a welcoming staff.

I ordered their [insert dish name, e.g. “avocado toast with poached eggs” or “signature breakfast burrito”] and paired it with a latte. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The latte was smooth with just the right amount of foam. I also sampled one of their pastries (the [name of pastry]) — it was light, buttery, and clearly made in-house.

Service was excellent: friendly, attentive, and helpful without being overbearing. Even when it got busy, the staff handled everything smoothly. The wait was reasonable, and our table was cleared promptly.

If I had to pick a downside, it’s that seating is somewhat limited during peak hours — you might find yourself waiting for a table. But that only emphasizes how popular this place is for a reason!

Overall, Chace’s Café is a gem — whether for breakfast, brunch, or a coffee date, I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious food, cozy vibes, and great service in Pittsburgh.

The turkey bacon was a nice surprise because not everyone has it or cooks it right. Great service and great food. The staff is very friendly. I’ll be returning.

This was an enjoyable place to have breakfast. A combination diner and house kitchen. The food and service was great. There were limited seats available and no way to wait if you wanted to. A small table outside was an extra on a nice day. A little more attention needs paid to cleaning the tables.
They do provide take-out.
Having said that, I would totally recommend a visit.
Please support this small business!!
