This review is long overdue. This has been my wife and my favorite restaurant in the area for almost a year. They have a passion for cocktails here that is unparalleled, we have visited Michelin restaurants focused on cocktails and have been left wanting at those places because of what we have had here. The food is also absolutely to die for, the sticky crispy beef is always our go-to, and they have a wide selection of other extremely delicious dishes. The ambiance and service is perfect, the owners are frequently around interacting with you and making you feel like a part of the family. The bartenders are knowledgeable, funny, and provide phenomenal service. This is by far the restaurant I recommend the most to anyone in or visiting the area, enjoy!

Songbird is honestly a hidden gem that provides a dark and romantic vibe for a girls night out or just a casual night out with your partner.
The atmosphere: Small and intimidate restaurant. Offers booth and bar seating, you’ll get great experiences at both.
The food: The five spice chicken wings are crispy on the outside and hot and juicy on the inside. Served with a sweet sauce, comparable to fish sauce, it was the perfect starter. My friends and I shared the Sticky Crispy Beef and the Fried Rice. By far my favorite crispy beef that I have tried.
The service: I can’t say enough good things about how amazing, welcoming, and friendly everyone is here. The bartender, Nate (I think), was great too!

Really good food and vibes, the highlights are the cocktails on the menu. Tried the HK milk tea punch, lychee pearl, vesper martini no2. Have to say HK milk tea punch was my favorite! American Chinese style food, with some very authentic and fun dishes. The Cripsy Whole Fish Hunan Style is really good, and have to admit that hot and spicy was my favorite!

The decor is funky/cool and bossa nova music was playing so that’s a plus. The food was all solid and above average in terms of authenticity. Very tasty! Will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

This place is wonderful! They are a 5/5 in every possible category. The ambiance is unique, cozy, but hip. The menu is well thought out with a variety of options and all dishes are made with attention to detail and presentation. Service is personable, you feel seen and cared for by every member of the staff. We didn’t try the cocktails this time but will be back, we sat at the bar and watched the bartenders make some delicious drinks. Honestly this place gives top notch NYC vibes. Highly recommend!

We recently celebrated my mom’s birthday and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish impressively crafted and bursting with flavor. The service was great, adding to the positive dining experience.
The restaurant boasts a very urban and trendy vibe, which we loved. The ambience was wonderful, making it a perfect spot for special occasions or just a nice night out.
However, there were two things that annoyed us. First, a waitress told us that our 2-hour limit was over, even though it hadn’t been two hours and we weren’t aware of any time limit. This was a bit frustrating, but the situation was quickly rectified by another staff member at the front. She was extremely apologetic and genuinely showed she cared, which we appreciated.
Secondly, they knew we had brought a cake, but it was served without any utensils or plates, which was inconvenient.
Despite these small issues, we had a fantastic time and would definitely return. Highly recommend!

I went on a Tuesday in February, I would love to give this place a 5 star review due to the food being tasteful and elegant as well as the service and atmosphere giving off such a fanatastic vibe. However I feel songbird doesn’t deserve it for how highly price they set themselves I went to experience quality American Chinese food and I received that but for the price I paid it makes me second guess my choice. I paid 86 dollars for over priced American Chinese food which I thought was outrageous I understand food and employees are expensive however 13 dollars for vegetable fried rice which doesn’t come with the famous general tsos is insane to me as well as paying 11 dollars each for appetizers. I ordered a plethora of food to give Song bird a great shot and to try new items I never had and which I’ll give it everything besides the pork steam dumplings were amazing I was yk the street at a dumpling place and my bill was 37 dollars for as much food and same quality for question. The pork steam dumplings looked like overpriced pot stickers I pride myself on giving every shot to a restraunt but when you put price yourself I feel it’s necessary to say something about. I will give it to Song bird the quality of your food is top notch but please consider lowering your prices. My order was as follows to allow anyone to judge how much this should cost -General Tsos chicken. – Fried chicken Bao buns qty (2). – Dynamic roll qty (8) pieces. – Steamed pork dumplings. -Vegatble fried rice.

If you know me, you know that I love me some good Chinese food. This place missed in a lot of areas. When we walked in the atmosphere was really nice. There were decorations hanging from the ceiling that created a nice romantic vibe, so that was really nice. I got started with an old fashioned and Crab Rangoons. My Rangoons were burnt around the edges and there was barely any filling inside my Rangoons. My old fashioned was ok. It wasn’t mixed well, and was extremely strong for some reason. The chicken wings were good. They were nice and crispy; the wings dipped in the red sauce was a hit! My lo mein was cooked well. Noodles were cooked perfectly. The problem was that there wasn’t enough meat in the lo mein as per picture. I had chicken and shrimp added and was only able to see two shrimps in my lo mein. Also the lo mein had no taste and no season at all was on the food. The waiter asked if I needed sauce as soon as the food came out because she even knew there was no seasoning on the food. What a bummer. I wanted to order the egg rolls but was scared that that might be over cooked like my Rangoons (bummer). Overall we will not be back. Don’t let the decorations or the name fool you.

Fantastic place. The girl bartender is fabulous! She made us this special baijiu cocktail which keep the Baijiu flavor but get rid of the spicy part. Really special, never have it at any other place. definitely come back.
