Our FBC group from Louisiana ate today at Romeo’s Pizzaria in Boonton, NJ.There was over 50 of us. We unanimously voted it the best pasta, pizza, and service we have had on our trip. Thank you so much for today. You made a lot of Louisiana people happy today. We did send them our menu choices ahead of time and it was ready and freshly cooked when we arrived. Great job!!

Local family owned pizza shop, dishing out crispy pizzas and homemade Italian staples since 1968.
Roma is reliable, consistent and put out a quality product using fresh ingredients.
You can tell a lot about a pizza shop by the quality of mushrooms they use. Here at Roma they use freshly sliced mushrooms, onions, etc.
They make excellent eggplant: rollatini, parm as well as eggplant stacks.
They also make delicious Sicilian rice balls!
This is our go to. Everyone in our family loves them. We pick up typically at least one pie a week and order from them for parties.

Tourist in NJ. I was only in the area briefly and this is the only pizza I was able to try. Did not disappoint. Looking forward to trying other places but this was a good representation for me. Estimated wait times could use some work as it took twice as long as I was told but it was otherwise a great experience. Pizza was tasty and had a nice crunch. Definitely recommend.

I’ve been going to this place since I was a kid and it’s my favorite! Awesome pizza, awesome pasta, in the middle of a fun block full of shops. My only complaint is that they don’t have the Simpsons arcade game that was there when I was 10-years-old 😀

This place seemed a little… Gritty at first? But clean tables. Food was terrific. Made a salad vegan by subbing cheese for a ton of walnuts. Kids had pasta and it was molto buona! Warm bread too.

So you dont last for 50 years without knowing how to make good pizza. Roma Pizza has been a staple on main street in Boonton and they continue to produce good pizza. This is just a suttle observation, but the pizzerias that have lasted more than 25 years with original ovens tend to have amazing crust. The crust at Romas speaks to you with first bite. Let’s see where they end up in the Morros County Rankings on the Pizza Hunters App. Congrats for 50 years and here is to 50 more. 🙂

This is such a gem. Came with my visiting aunt and young kids. The environment is cool and the service, food and prices are honestly all 10/10. In Manhattan or surrounding areas you’d pay 50%-100% and I think the food and service at Roma are superior. The pizza is really solid and we ended up getting a random dish of spaghetti with vodka sauce and grilled chicken that was one of my favorite restaurant dishes in years! Everything comes out fresh and piping hot. We’ll be back!
