Worst experience. Even though I ordered my order as DOUBLE TOASTED. 3 bagels with cream cheese. And they did no toast at all. I was driving and in rush so could not come back to give them back. So disappointing. Because now they got some fame so customers orders has no importance at all. Next time no Bethesda Bagels but maybe Call Your Mother Deli or Bullfrog Bagels. No chairs inside for sitting. You order and take out. The shopping center has other shops around. Plenty of parking which is good about the center.

Tried Bethesda Bagels for the first time. I ordered two different bagel sandwiches, but they mixed up my order and swapped the toppings. The taste was good and flavorful, though not the best bagel I’ve ever had.

Bethesda Bagels continues to be the best place for a New York style bagel in this area. Super friendly staff and management here at the Wildwood location. Bagels are always fresh, You can literally see the staff rolling them out in the back— highly recommend the veggie cream cheese! Super seamless online ordering process. If you’re from up north and feeling deprived of a good bagel in this area…this is your place!

Bagels were bomb. Steak, egg, and cheese is soo good. And prices are so reasonable! I felt like the cream cheese was too much for me tbh considering I usually order extra CC, which means they’re giving you your moneys worth I guess! No complaints.

I live on the West Coast, so I’m sorely deprived of real bagels. Thank goodness for the Bethesda Bagels bagel superhero to the rescue!

The bagels are hand made and the perfect chewyness. Great selection of flavors and toppings. As others have mentioned, this location is always super busy. (You can order ahead and pick up, but I like to stand there waiting so I can soak up the bagel essence.)

The staff is friendly and efficient. My favorite is the jalapeño cream cheese.

Visiting from Philly and stopped in for a quick breakfast —I was so pleasantly surprised! The bagels were some of the freshest and most delicious I’ve ever had. They offer tons of options, from different flavors and sizes to a great selection of spreads. The portions are very generous, too my boyfriend got the bacon, egg, and cheese, and it was packed so well he even had leftovers. Great food, friendly service, and overall an awesome experience. We will absolutely be back!

Excellent place. The service is quick and friendly. The lunchtime fare is diverse and tasty. I enjoyed a bagel dog today with some hardly mustard. Yum.

Parking in this shopping center is tight. It’s busy- at least I lit was at 1:30 pm on a Tuesday.

Very nice spot for a lunch. I can imagine the bagels are good here. At noon they were still smelling amazing.

A hallmark of a New York-style Handmade bagels – A great vegan option, always fresh and lots of great options/spreads/fresh juices to choose. I like their bagels for the dense chewy interior and shiny crispy crust. Hit the spot every time. I prefer the rich, slightly sweet and malty flavors that come out during the boiling process which makes it palatable. A GOOD BITE.

Really great fresh bagels. Real deal. Having come from both upstate New York and Southern New Jersey, I have not found anything in the region that came close to quality bagels. Then we tried Bethesda Bagels on Old Georgetown this week and have already returned for a second time. Bagels with cream cheese . I read other reviews before going and a lot of the negative reviews seem to be pretty subjective, for example, people complaining about a wait time which sounds like their poor planning and managing their own schedule, or not being pampered and having a red carpet rolled out for them. None of these things actually have to do with the food or service offered or provided. From my two experiences, if you want quality bagels and either plan ahead to order so you don’t have to wait, or be okay and have the time to wait when they are busy, then this is a great bagel place in the area I’m happy to have stumbled upon.

I’ve gone to this location so many times and it feels like the service/quality has gone downhill. If you ask for your bagel toasted, it comes out barely toasted – if you ask for it double toasted, it’s burnt. I’ve had missing items on multiple occasions. This past time, they gave me the wrong bagel. Going in to order, it’s always chaotic because no one knows where to stand after ordering. One day I went in to get just a bagel and cream cheese on a weekday during a non peak time with maybe 2 people in the store and it took them 15 minutes for my order to come out. That’s ridiculous for an already prepared food that only needs toasting. It’s unfortunate because I do think their bagels are pretty good – but the service is just terrible.
