Completely impressed. The 9 inch round cake was as close to what Grandma would make as possible. Absolutely not from a box or can impression, and a Harris Teeter or Food Lion or Wal Mart baked goods are not even close to comparable. The icing is also very homemade in taste, not overly sweet and very creamy, reminds me of a good homemade whipped cream icing. BWG simply aced it.
Also picked up a couple of cinnamon rolls, very fresh, and again, the icing was off the hook, not syrupy sweet and very homemade in flavor. Really well done.
Looking forward to more.
If I had some constructive criticism, some practice in lettering would improve the overall appearance and perceived quality. . . but the excellent homemade flavor will make one overlook that, and cake lettering is an easy fix with practice.

What a GREAT little spot for coffee and anything your sweet tooth craves! Went in for the first time on Saturday and was instantly greeted with smiles and welcomes! The cookies filled with sweet cream cheese filling were a HUGE hit with the guys from my husband’s work and the cupcakes were phenomenal! So happy for this new sweet shop in town. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you ladies for a wonderful experience!! Will be back for doggie cupcakes too!
