2nd bad experience in a row. 1st was when their heat was out. Co-worker and I went in for lunch. He ordered his without onions and both his burger and loaded fries came out with onions. We sent his back a second time for no onions. Another 15min had passed and the order came out a second time with onions. We had already waited 30+min and my food was cold. He scrapped the onions off and we ate our lunch. Today took my son to burger poet and made our order for dine in. After 30 min and seeing others leave that came in after us I decided to ask a worker how much longer. After they asked my name he pointed to their “pick up rack” which had my order on it. I said bro I didn’t want cold food! He shrugged shoulders and went on. I decided to sit down and eat with my son. The burgers and loaded fries were not hot and the cheese bites were set too. I like them to be more soft then they were and it was due to the temp of the food. Two times in a row with bad experience. I’ve been to burger poet several times before all this and only other bad experience I had was on their opening day with the fries. They put all their fries into tray and were serving from there. The fries were cold and we returned them for hot fries which they made and apologized for. When I spend $50+ for two meals I expect better!!!!

This place was hard to rate for me. Parking isn’t the greatest but thats because of the snow we had recently mostly. But they are under-staffed so much that lady taking orders had a child on her hip. However she was amazing and friendly and did an excellent job. As for the food I got a special one that cant remember the name of but it was pretty good. Burger was slightly over cooked but the onion ring and bbq sauce were really tasty and it came with some mini jalapeños too. Also had cheese fries for a sode that were decent. I feel I need to try it again and adjust rating as needed. Bit they were super busy when I went right at open. The atmosphere is hatd to decide. Its ok. There’s a section roped off that looks like its for parties and stuff so thats kind of a cool thing for families. But my review is with ** till I go abck and try again. I do recommend people try it for themselves tho.

My wife and I didn’t feel like cooking, so we decided to get burgers. We had not yet tried The Burger Poet, so we looked it up. Their Employee of the Month was Akeem, so I knew we made a good choice!
Not knowing how popular it was, I went to get our food. My mistake, as I should have called ahead and out my order in. It took about 20 minutes to get my food, as they cook everything to order. I’m not mad and that is not a criticism, they are just that popular. I will know for next time!
So, my wife ordered the single Original burger with a side of fries and I got the double Classic burger with some Loaded Fries.
I took the food home and we started in on it shortly thereafter. The burgers were tasty and just the right size for the price paid. The burgers had the perfect amount of toppings as well. My wife’s side of fries were hot and fresh and my loaded fries had just the right amount of grease, due to the chopped burger and dressing.
Overall, for the price paid and the tastiness of the food, we will be back

The woman who took my order is the epitome of customer service. She was friendly, all smiles, personable and gave great recommendations. The double smash cheeseburger I ordered with bacon and house sauce was phenomenal. Cooked perfectly! I need to know what type of bun they are using as well or what they did to it. Spot on my friends. The fries were seasoned just right for my taste buds and I really enjoyed this quaint little spot overall. I would definitely recommend and visit again. Cheers!

Food is great. Loved the burger, loved the house sauce, fries were great, didnt bulk at the prices. The music was awesome! I didn’t mind the “dive-bar” atmosphere BUT…work needs to be put into the bathroom. Im pretty sure the hot and cold water handles were backwards, it just felt filthy in there.

This burger place has delicious burgers and very flavorful hotdog. The onion rings are thick and cooked well and the fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside just as they should be Hubby ordered the deluxe burger that came with onions lettuce, tomato, mayo, cheese, pickles on a bun. It was messy but delicious. Definitely a place that we will continue to frequent.

Popped in for a quick bite on our way through town. Glad I looked on Google maps, because I would have never seen this place. It’s kind of tucked away next to Dollar General.
It was delicious and priced very well. My husband had the Classic Cheeseburger for $6 and I had the Loaded Fries for $6. The only thing I would have changed was more pickles on the fries. Other than that the food was fresh, hot, and tasted good. Service was prompt and friendly. The price is perfect. We will definitely stop in the next time we come this way. Thanks again!

I was in Franklin visiting my brother and he suggested we go there for lunch because he hadn’t been yet. I’m never one to turn down a burger. It was a fantastic smash patty! The pineapple dream dessert is also a must get. Fantastic prices, flavor, and decor.
