Delicious chickens! Always make it a point to stop here on my way into Port Isabel. Recently had them cater my baby shower and everything was delicious, all of our guests could not stop talking about how great everything was! Delicious pollo asado grilled to order. Our favorite meat was the chicken… the carne asada and the sausage were ok but everyone preferred the chicken. Rice beans, tortillas, and mashed potatoes were all good.
In SA, the pollo asados do not have mashed potatoes. I liked the mashed potatoes.

This place just opened and tried it for the first time and food is delicious! The chicken is actually cooked in a pit. The chicken was well seasoned and has a well-balanced smoke flavor. The meat was tender and also really good, the sides were really good too. The combos are well served, and the staff is helpful and friendly. It is a drive thru for togo orders only.

Wow!!! This place doesn’t mess around!!! The chicken was straight off the grill and amazingly tender and tasty. When they handed me the bag I was surprised by the weight of it. I had just ordered a half chicken and some frijoles and the bag was way too heavy for just that. Meal came with beans, rice, mashed potatoes, grilled onions, jalapeños, tortillas and a variety of salsa. I didn’t know that and ordered extra beans which were some of the best in the area. Has a drive through be a great place to stop and get a family meal on the way to SPI. Best of all it was less than a value meal at the Mcdonald’s across the street. Had enough left for an extra meal. It was hard stopping eating when i was full it was so delicious but i managed. Ohhh almost forgot everyone working there was super friendly. On par with some of the more famous chicken spots in Mexico City.

Flavor of chicken, rice, and beans is good. Mash potatoes taste blah. They are instant potatoes could use more flavor and more thickening. Corn tortillas are too hard to eat. They give some pico de gallo but it’s literally like a quarter size portion.

Overpriced for what you get (Doña Lola package). The chicken was dry and tiny, the meat was thin and dry, and we only got 2 ribs. for the $50 they charge (plus card processing fee), this plate is not satisfactory. I believe if you are charging a good amount of money the plate should reflect the money. We also did not get our “complementos”

Rude service by the lady with the tattoos and bull earing on her nose.To make matters worse the food was terrible! Tiny purple wing, dry flavorless small piece of chicken breast, tiny piece of hard sausage, undercooked and flavorless rice, one piece of tomato in the pico. I mean it was just the worse experience. First and definitely the last!
