Not bad. Food was hot, fresh, and well prepared. We had fried oysters, fish, and shrimp with cole slaw and red beans and rice. I didn’t care for the breading on the oysters. Tasty, just a little too heavy for such a delicate food. Shrimp and fish were above par. Cole slaw was ok, RB&R was excellent. Hush puppies were good. Tartar was ok, cocktail sauce was outstanding! Service was good for a store only open 2 days. Price was about average for seafood. $45.00 for 2 meals without drinks. We’ll go back at some point and see if they can earn that fifth star.

My husband and I were traveling through the area and this restaurant was in walking distance. Thank goodness! It’s was absolutely amazing! I had the crawfish etouffee and my husband had the trio platter, shrimp, fish and chicken tenders with fries and hush puppies. We both agreed this was some of the best food we had on vacation. Our waitress, Hannah, was wonderful. Everyone was extremely friendly. I rated atmosphere a 4 because they need more space to seat people!

Stopped in on my way back home and glad we did. Food was hot and fresh. Our server Amalia was excellent. Super friendly and attentive. If we’re in the area again we will be coming back.

They don’t have alcoholic beverages yet they had only been open 2wks but the food and service was GREAT! Our waiter I forget his name but he was a Hispanic guy, when I tell you he went above and beyond customer service!! He was very attentive, made sure we had everything we needed and kept us in the know of our order which did not take very long at all to come out! This place have been added to my to go list of places to eat in Nacogdoches!!

Had lunch at Fish Tales in Nacogdoches, Texas with friends and it was amazing! I ordered the Southwest Chicken Salad and it was possibly the best salad I’ve ever eaten. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The atmosphere was great for a relaxed lunch and the service was friendly. Highly recommend!!!
