I ordered about $60 worth of rolls through GrubHub, which already added on a rather expensive service fee. When the driver arrived with the delivery, he did not exit his vehicle, and when he gave me the food, proceeded to verbally harass me until I added a tip, citing that he had called my number twice when he arrived, and was generally rude and unprofessional. The food tasted okay, however, to top off the experience, it gave me food poisoning. For the price and service, I would not order from here again and would advise others to be wary.
Edit: The owner points out below that my order was refunded by GrubHub as if it was not within my rights to report the restaurant to GrubHub after such poor service.

Food, service, and prices are the best you can find when it comes to Sushi restaurants, the best one in the Bronx, I say in the Top 10 in the City. I try to get there at least once a month.

Ok First things first, I do not work for or have any working relationship with this restaurant or its workers. Now that being said, I love food and I am the kind of person that tries restaurants once and if I like what I get in the form of service and food Quality/Quantity will keep coming back for more. I no longer can have raw fish/seafood so I cannot attest to their variety of raw plates but the ones that I have eaten are above par.
Before I found this place I did a google search of the top sushi places around my area, and this little place was number 3 in The Bronx and on the top 25 places in the whole city….THAT IS IN THE TOP 25 PLACES IN THE BRONX, QUEENS, MANHATTAN AND BROOKLYN.
I love their service regardless if you are eating in or taking out, they are always courteous, friendly and fast. the restaurant has 2 sections to eat in the one in front has tables and chairs and tables and benches, the back part of the restaurant is more Japanese traditional with the small tables that are very close to the floor and where you have to kneel/sit on floor.
The prices of the food are very reasonable, the quality of the food is exceptional, and the presentation of the plates is beautiful.
I have been coming to this little restaurant now for almost 4 years, I try to get my food at least once a month, and even do is hard since I do not have a car and have to take a cab round trip (30 bucks) I need to eat from here.
Now think about that, I am willing to spend 30 bucks to take a cab to eat here when I could just take a quick train hop to go somewhere else closer… That should tell you everything you should know about this place..
my favorite plates are: House special fried rice( I order with soy sauce, but it comes with out) Dragon Roll, California Roll, Zombie Roll, Spicy Kani Roll. Also the Chicken or the Beef Teriyaki Bento Plates among every other thing I have eaten here.

This was my first time here with my family. Ever since I moved to the Bronx, I’ve been on the search for a good sushi restaurant. This restaurant has really fresh fish! We all ordered the sushi roll combo that either comes with a miso soup or salad. The food was a good amount that we were stuffed. Also, they had the special appetizer that was delicious – ribs that they marinated overnight. The ribs were tender and flavorful. We had the fried banana for dessert and thst was amazing! The only thing that you need to know before dining here is that they no longer accept credit cards, CASH ONLY. They have an ATM inside their restaurant, but who wants to pay a surcharge fee?! The wait staff was attentive and helpful with menu recommendations. I will definitely dine in or order from here again.

The food itself is really delicious. However, the restaurant is hot & muggy, the service was horrible. Our waitress seemed annoyed at every request we had. Other staff members watched us struggle to get our waitress’ attention and no one budged. Food and beverages took a while to get to us, we didn’t even get checked in on (we were the only one’s dining in). There is an 18% service charge to dine in which feels undue- due to the lack of great service we received. I would go back only for take out.

Love this place! Food is always so good and they have so much variety. Definitely my favorite local sushi place! The ramen is also pretty good. The dancing tina roll is so yummy! I love coming here. To add, I love that husband makes the sushi and wife serves the tables. They are adorable!
