I cannot recommend this place enough. My family and I have been going here consistently for at least the past 5+ years. Tonight I ordered my usual chilli basil chicken stirfry with coconut rice and an entree. The food was ready nice and quick as always. Once I got home, I noticed that instead of my chicken stirfry, I was accidentally given a tofu dish. The first mistake in 5+ years!! The staff handled this amazingly. I phoned up And was immediately met with a big apology. Once I returned (only about a 5 minute drive) the head chef / owner approach me with my corrected dish, a free entrée of satay chicken skewers and a refund for my original order. I did not accept the refund, as it certainly was not necessary after so many amazing meals, but was very thankful for the gesture of the free entree. I am now at home enjoying this lovely dish, but thought I better jump on and share this excellent experience immediately!! Thank you Thai at Winston, for so many years of amazing food.

Thai at Winston is a little hidden gem in Ipswich. The food here is incredible and always incredibly fresh. Service is very friendly and they always make my food exactly how I like it including making me a special slightly off menu dinner every time I come in which is so incredibly sweet all because it’s my favourite dish but technically not on the menu anymore. The wait times are incredibly quick also and I never have to wait long. While they are a small restaurant you can tell that every tiny detail has been taken into consideration to make it comfortable for their patrons.

Highly recommend this place! I gladly travel 25 minutes from home to pick up take-away orders from here. We have tried a variety of dishes over the past 5+ years and have never (ever) been disappointed. They have also always maintained a very reasonable price compared to many other places we have tried. Service always friendly and food is ready in the timeframe indicated.

The dining experience is from the moment you step in the door and I got this here last time I came, and the time before that. The food is fresh, tasty and well priced, the ambience warm and inviting. There is plenty of parking and with a good level of customers coming and going, well received by the locals. Your food is served in good time and the staff are very friendly. With the kitchen in sight, you are greeted with the aromas of fine food cooking, drawing you into a well laid out dining area. Well sighted on the corner of Warwick Road and Ash Street in Yamanto, it’s easy for locals to access and enjoy. Great stuff.

First time going to this place as it had very good reviews. I ordered yellow curry, spring rolls and rice. The spring rolls were amazing and came with sauce which I loved. I was so excited for the curry as it smelled and looked amazing. I then went to divide the chicken into a bowl and it was disturbing. The chicken was in massive portions and it had fatty pieces and veins through it. It didn’t look appealing even though I was super hungry… the rice was also very dry. I ended up only eating the potato and rice so was quite disappointed. Would order from here again but wouldn’t order chicken again!
