Ate there for the first time today. Little bit of a wait, as was to be expected for any restaurant on a Friday evening after 5. I got a medium Supreme to-go and it is absolutely delicious! I will DEFINITELY be returning, the young lady at the front was super friendly, and the pizza is a 10 out of 10 recommend!

Been going here for about 5 years. Prices are pretty reasonable and overall food quality, based on what I’ve eaten only, reflects this. Just don’t go in expecting higher quality Italian food. Salad bar is good. Recently had a pizza with pepperoni and Italian sausage. My first time getting the Italian sausage topping, it has to be the cheapest they can find. It’s solid gray color, I mean when I first looked at I just got the impression of cheapness, sliced kind of thin like pepperoni, unappeling with barely any Italian sausage flavor, I’ll never order that on my pizza again. After eating one slice I removed the rest of it. Also tried an Italian sub a few months back and really didn’t like the overall taste of it, I mean it was okay but something I wouldn’t order again. The Steak sub is is a little above average in my book. Pretty much whittled it down to just getting their pizza, but never with Italian sausage again. ** note, they charge a 3.5% card fee. I’m not sure about this, but I used my bank debit card which draws it right from my checking account. I’m not sure if it’s actually legal to do this for a bank debit card. A Google Search is telling me it’s supposed to be for credit cards only. Hopefully they can clarify this. If I’m wrong I will edit this portion out.

Veggie pizza was trash, felt like whole bottles of jalapeño, black olive and banana peepers dumped on it. Pizza was uncooked and nasty

The rating for this place is inaccurate as it is definitely not a 4.6/5. I got the chicken calzone twice. It’s about $23 and quite large, but you get a ton of cold ricotta with barely any chicken. The chicken that is in there is shredded or something and it becomes dry/tough after baking. Two times were enough chances though. My wife’s chicken Alfredo also looked pitiful and not to mention the flies that you’ll find in your salad-bar salad. I encourage people who enjoy it to still go though so the lines elsewhere will be shorter for me.

Outstanding place to stop and get chow in Danville. Great bang for your buck. Awesome salad bar, salad was crisp and fresh. Chicken parm was done right! And Philly cheesesteak was on point! Definitely felt like I got my monies worth here. Highly recommend!

Where can you go for excellent Italian food WITH a salad bar?! Roma’s in Danville! The salad bar was fresh with great items. Healthy. Tour de Roma did not disappoint! Enough for take out and very reasonably priced! Can’t wait to be back.

The past few times me and my wife have ordered food from Roma’s it has been really good. My issue arises when I arrive to pay for my food. I never keep cash as it’s not the smartest way to pay for anything nowadays. I almost always pay with my debit card. Roma’s has started charging a 3.5% surcharge on everything that is not paid with cash. Per Visa; surcharges are a fee to recoup costs associated with processing credit cards and are only supposed to be applied to credit cards and not debit cards. Roma’s is also doing this in a way that does not show the surcharge on your receipt. Debit card surcharges are prohibited in the state of Virginia. They should only apply to credit cards transactions. I really love the food here but this isn’t right. I am guessing people paying with debit cards; know nothing about this and thus say nothing. Not to mention Visa and Mastercard strictly prohibit surcharges on debit cards as well. Something needs to change but be weary when paying with a debit card here!

Have been to Roma Restaurants at other locations. This may have good food but not a place for a salad. They only have a salad bar.
