Under its new management, Vito’s Ristorante & Pizzeria in Glen Cove feels revitalized. From the moment you walk in, service is polished and efficient—Brian keeps everything running like clockwork, adding a welcoming, family-style touch.
What starts as a simple pizza counter evolves into a spacious, stylish dining area. The dark cherry wood, stone accents, and prominent wine wall give it a cozy yet refined vibe—relaxed, not pretentious.

The food is stellar: flavorful, fresh, and served with care. Everything feels clean and thoughtfully prepared, creating a genuinely enjoyable dining experience.

In short, Vito’s strikes the perfect balance between warmth and sophistication—ideal for casual meals or special events.

I paid 142. with tax for 2 trays of food to be delivered to a party. I specifically told them a few times it was for 50 people and I needed a deep full size tray of penne alla vodka and a full tray of chicken Francese. What I got was a full size 1 1/2” tray of pene alla vodka! And it looked like ziti.. red… not pink sauce…it was not what I asked for. The chicken francese also was in a full size 1 1/2” tray and was filled lightly not enough food for 50 people and was wiped out immediately. 30 people did not get to eat it.not even me. I called and spoke to a girl and instead of saying sorry we will fix the problem her response was yeah that’s the size pans we serve and you could have ordered more half pans.. no fixing the problem. Thank goodness we also brought from home our baked ziti in TWO full size 3” deep pans. I was embarrassed by this with friends and family at this party. I asked for full size deep pans of the pasta didn’t get it.. asked for a full size tray of the chicken and got an extremely light ammount. And no resolve of this issue. Won’t order again

normally i am content with vitos, pizza is usually consistent and tasty. but wow this night disappointed me.. not sure if it was the way the gentleman personally packed my garlic knots but they were soaked in grease. bit into one and it was like a water balloon popped in my mouth, i couldnt even finish them. they were in a to-go box wrapped in tin foil with a pool of oil at the bottom.
id also like to mention the teenage staff were not very welcoming, maybe they had a bad night or something but i didnt get welcomed in but only met with cold hard stares from two girls that seemed mad that i was interrupting them being on their phones. Thanks a bunch for the good cheese slice but the garlic knots were unacceptable.
Here’s the pool of grease vv

We had lunch on a Sunday and I ordered short ribs and they served me something that looked like pot roast. What ever it was, it was just ok. Definitely not worth the $27.99 price tag. My husband had the veal parmigiana and he said the sauce was very acidic. My brother and sister had fish and shrimp and they liked it. I’m giving it one star on my experience.

Ordered catering from Vito’s Ristorante and Pizzeria for Mother’s Day, instead of my Ivarone Brothers and/or Uncle Giuseppe catering. Owners and staff are friendly abd professional.
Let me just say the ingredients are fresh, quality and everything on the menu seemed like a homemade Italian dish.
The meatballs were amazingly fresh and delicious, the penne alla vodka was great and the sauce is top notch, eggplant parm was our favorite, steak was great over a bed of vegetables, the sausage and peppers with no sauce, just oil took most of the space on our plates. My whole family loved Vito’s and the quality of their food, we will be catering from them for now on.

My dad loves Vito’s. He orders from there at least once a week. I have also been impressed the 2 times that I have gone. The pizza is way too crunchy for my taste(I had the chicken parm slice and the baked ziti slice). Their pizza seems to be much more thin crust than other pizzerias. The ravioli was pretty good, but was overcooked. When I would cut it and then try to pick it up with my fork, it would fall apart before I could get it in my mouth. The bread that comes with the pasta is REALLY toasted. The Caesar salad was excellent. The selection of gelato was also really good. Despite how full I was, I couldn’t resist getting a scoop of Cookies and Cream gelato.

Best authentic Italian pizza I’ve had in a really long time. My absolute best slice is the spinach artichoke slice. Definitely going back

I’m rather surprised, I always recalled Vito’s with great fondness. The place to go for a slice and a coke. Perhaps certain locales are best experienced in person. Our delivery, sadly, was a lackluster experience.

It lacked items, both a drink and the paid addition of broccoli to a chick-parm roll… Though perhaps most aggregious, was the astoundingly subpar combination of overcooked, yet cold, and overly greasy.

The pizza all but oozes grease upon you, as if to resist your attempts at consumption… Fear not, its smell lingers on your skin long after. I’m not richer having experienced this meal, literally and metaphorically.

The roll was a torturous affair, the litteral skin of my mouth ravaged by the hardened carapace of dough. Perhaps it was the artist’s intention to serve it with overly watery sauce, so as to achieve some sort of unholy symbiosis of dough and sauce. Clearly, not a match made in heaven.

Newly renovated seating area. Really good rigatoni with pollo. Calamari was good appetizer. Would go again.

I like to call Vito’s Ristorante and Pizzeria “home” for several reasons. The food, hospitality and service make you feel like you are sitting in your own dining room.

We’ve been coming to Vito’s for years now and the food is always fresh, delicious and creative. Angela shares her recipes from her hometown in Sicily and we always look forward to something new on the daily special menu. The prices are great for the amount of food you get…there’s always plenty and I take home my leftovers for another meal.

My favorite is the Chicken Sorrentino with red sauce…moist, tender chicken with thin slices of eggplant and prosciutto. Most recently my husband ordered the Chicken Daniela over Broccoli Rabe with shrimp, thinly sliced fried potatoes with lemon wine sauce. All entrées are served with either pasta and your choice of sauce or salad. Order the salad with the house dressing…it is to die for and a secret recipe. I’ve tried to copy it but just can’t seem to get it right!

You can’t go wrong with ordering anything from the menu…seriously. The pizza is crispy and delicious. We especially like the Grandma pie with its thin, crispy crust. Owner Mario (married to Angela) really knows how to make a pizza and is definitely the best around. Their son Vito manages the restaurant and does a great job.

Vito’s is a real asset to Glen Cove and a stand out amongst all the other Italian restaurants and pizzerias. They won the 2019 Best of Long Island in 5 categories for Wings, Mussels, Spinach Pie & Sausage & Pepper Sandwich as well as Best Dinner Deal. Every Tuesday is pasta night and you’ll get your choice of five or six different pastas, soup or salad and dessert and coffee for $12. Get there early as tables fill up fast.

If you haven’t tried Vito’s, you don’t know what you’re missing…trust me. I look forward to returning there week after week.
