Our first time and I’d go again for sure. Lots of menu choices and good variety. I had the honey mustard crispy chicken salad which was great. We ordered the country fried chicken meal with mashed potatoes, gravy, cran sauce, and corn. Then also had bbq chicken wrap with sweet potato waffle fries. Everything was really tasty.

It’s 99, so you know the food will be good and the portions reasonable. I haven’t been in a 99 in years, because we live in the restaurant wasteland of Gloucester, and this is kind of a treat. Our server, Kelly is great and brought us up to date on the menu.

Been years since I came to the 99. Was always ‘so so’ before, but this restaurant has really turned it around. Server greeted us and we were sat within minutes of walking in. Drinks were ordered and came quick. Out of my first choice, but server made a great recommendation. Beers were cold. Entrees were placed and within 10 minutes came out. Ordered a Spicy Chicken Sandwich and a Honey BQQ Chicken wrap. Fries were perfectly salted and crispy. Both sandwiches were delicious. All around great experience! Will be coming back to this location for sure.

Ordered delivery through the 99 App and when it came one of my meals was forgotten. Just got off the phone with the Stoneham 99 manager (Misty or could have been Missy) and she refused to have another one delivered to me because and I quote “you ordered through a third party so it’s not our fault.” My only option was to come and pick it up when they are the ones that forgot to bag it. I then asked for my money back and she proceeded to tell me I would only get my money back for the meal and not for the $6 delivery charge because yet again “I ordered through a third party”when in fact I ordered through the 99 App. She then proceeded to tell me it would take 7-10 businesses days to get my money back and then hung up on my dad when he tried talking to her. I have been going to this restaurant my whole life and have been ordering delivery for years. Never in my life have I been treated like that. My family will never step into a 99 again…

This is one restaurant that will not survive. Food was mediocre. It was much better years ago. No lunch menu anymore. Going to give it a pass in the future.

Service was great, food was only good. For an additional about $5, I was able to add on a soup or salad and small desert . The salad I got was a house salad with balsamic. The dessert was a strawberry cake – which was delicious upon first bite but quickly became repetive. The chicken noodle soup came with crackers. Tasted ok but nothing above average. The desert was a seasonal apple cheesecake and was just ok. Downside was back ordering (edited) and some dishes were not available, such as the strawberry cake.
Went 2022, felt like prices were not worth the food I was getting.

I entered this 99 restaurant cause I live close by and wanted to have a try. Because it was kinda busy, I had to wait a couple of minutes at the front desk but then Jessica ask me to sit down at the bar. She was very friendly and helped me to make decisions in terms of food and drinks. I had salmon with rice and broccoli and that food was really great. Usually I don’t eat fish but I had a try this time and like I said everything was really good. During my meal I could watch the Celtics game against Houston.
All in all as a German guy I really enjoyed my stay over there and really appreciate the help of Jessica. She’s a great person and I’ll go back for sure. Obviously I can’t say anything about the waiting time when you have a seat but I didn’t wait that long like other people wrote about.

Another awesome experience at 99!! A little but if a wait..but that’s usual for this place..I did use call ahead seating…waited 20min …Had steak tip salad. Very fresh ..was whole romain..I preferred chopped…had lobster bisque…very tasty but no pieces of lobster noted
Popcorn complimentary to start….but you can order cheese and crackers ..which are delicious
Had fruity sangria…delicious!!!!
