Service was great, food was only good. For an additional about $5, I was able to add on a soup or salad and small desert . The salad I got was a house salad with balsamic. The dessert was a strawberry cake – which was delicious upon first bite but quickly became repetive. The chicken noodle soup came with crackers. Tasted ok but nothing above average. The desert was a seasonal apple cheesecake and was just ok. Downside was back ordering (edited) and some dishes were not available, such as the strawberry cake.

Ill start off with the good. They are always fast with the order and never miss anything. Very friendly staff. The only two reason I took some stars off the food are: 1. Whenever you get fries they keep it with the main entree which in turn make it soggy and inedible. 2. If you ever get chicken tenders they always over cook it. It makes it very dry and hard to eat. Especially if you have a kids meal for your kid who can choke on the food. You can always order it in the restaurant and it is fine. Maybe they keep the chicken tenders under a heat lamp. My suggestion cook them last or watch how long you keep them under the heat lamp. I will always go the the 99. The positives will always out way the negatives. Especially over the quality of other restaurants.

potato skins had very little bacon and cheese with too much potato, and were extremely oily. steak tips came with maybe 6 pieces tops? there are better 99’s out here

The bartender at the bar does terrible service it’s the worst service I’ve ever had. I go to ninety nine restaurants in Stoneham all the time we’ve never had a problem but tonight it’s the worst service I’ve ever had advice never go sit at the bar on a friday night when the girl black hair and glasses and the boy named Billy are serving they didn’t do a good job, they didn’t ask if the food was ok or if I needed anything I had to ask for the menu for everything, they didn’t asked me what i wanted , i finished my food and they even cleared away the empty plates the other people who arrived after us were served better than us only one thing we never tip less than $20 so what would it be the reason for the bad service???

99 is a great restaurant! Good food, good prices, slightly larger portions than their competition. For some reason I always have bad experiences at the Stoneham 99 because of the staff. I’ve tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but I have never once had a good experience at this particular restaurant. Easy solution, just don’t go to the Stoneham one again, plenty others around. Sorry, giving them a two. There seems to be something wrong here.
