Was a bit surprised, in a good way. This was our first time at Little Mexico Food was excellent and the prices were good. The salsa they give you at the beginning is excellent, with just the right spice. It is actually my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Alton. I strongly suggest you give it a try.

First of all, the customer service was unsurmountable! I’ve been was great! I really enjoyed talking to the owner Hector about how well I’ve been was doing. The food was delicious, fast, and very authentic. I appreciate a good appetizer which is what they provide as soon as you come in. The warm chips and salsa are delicious! We will definitely be coming back to this establishment.

Had been here once before for dinner and it was good, suggested it for our party of seven for lunch, I was embarrassed! Service was slow, but could have overlooked that if our food would have been hot, and our orders would have been correct.( Several were wrong) Plus they totally forgot one person’s order & didn’t get his out until everyone else was almost done eating. I (nor anyone else in our party)will not be back. The one positive was $1.99 margaritas that were good.

My girlfriend and I just found this hidden treasure. It was great the first time and we just went again and it was just as magnificent. Had different servers but the service was still great. This time we tried the margaritas and they were awesome. We have also been trying different dishes everytime we go and they have all exceeded our expectation and been very flavorful and artfully crafted. Best of all, it’s very affordable for the great service and flavor. Highly recommended for a special outing or casual experience for all audiences.
