We went with my family early today.
The food is excellent, and the service from the waitress and the busboy was excellent — they were so sweet and very attentive.
The manager who greeted us was very kind to us and to our 3-year-old baby.

I’ve always enjoyed dining in at this restaurant, so I was very surprised by the quality of my recent order. I ordered three items for takeout/delivery, and unfortunately the food arrived stale and only slightly warm. The texture and taste were noticeably old, and the bread was so hard it was impossible to bite into.
This experience was disappointing because the dine-in meals here have consistently been excellent. I hope this was an isolated incident, but quality control for takeout definitely needs attention. I’m sharing this in hopes that management reviews their preparation process so customers receive the same standard at home that they do in the restaurant.

Tucked away with a charming patio, it almost felt like a secret escape—I nearly walked past without noticing it. The dishes were fresh and thoughtfully crafted with unique flavor combinations that stood out. I’m already looking forward to returning to explore their dinner menu. The only drawback was that service felt a bit slower than expected, especially given that the restaurant wasn’t very busy at the time.

Being a large party, we were seated indoors (weekend lunch). Beautiful location by the lake – I can imagine how beautiful this would be on a fall evening. Wait staff was superb at their job – efficient, friendly, informed, on pointe with their recommendations.
The food – benissimo! Perfetto! Cacio è pepe was perfectly al dente, the steak was soft and perfectly cooked, calamari and ricotta appetizers were delish. Drinks were well made – not watered down. The gelato table dessert and went down superbly with double espressos.

This is a great place with decor and lighting. However, the second we walked in, we didn’t get greeted by the hostess who was too busy liking insta photos on her cell phone. Pastas we had were drenched in oily sauces yay. Cavolini salad was good but portion was too small. Manager came over after we had dinner for “how is everything” routine to check off from the to-do list. It was not a genuine check. Anyway, I hope, they’ll pay attention to detail.

I am recommending this restaurant based on our dining there for our wedding anniversary. I think if you are looking for a romantic cozy vibe, this is a great place. There is a beautiful seating area by the pond, so I imagine it is also great in the summer. Ask for a type of table you want, and they will do their best to accommodate you. We got a cozy quiet one by the wine cellar which was great for us. Service was impeccable. Great wine selection and they gave us sparkling wine to help our celebration, which was very thoughtful.

My husband surprised me with a spur-of-the-moment night out, and we headed to Felice in Roslyn. This beautiful restaurant was nestled in the back by the water. He made a reservation ahead of time, and from the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and quickly shown to our table. We asked to sit closer to the water, and she graciously accommodated us without hesitation.
Our server, Erika was kind, attentive, and efficient—while also giving us space to relax and enjoy the ambiance of the evening. It made for such a peaceful, enjoyable experience. The manager, Frank was kind and checked on us and other tables throughout the evening.
We started with, crusty bread served with olive oil—soft on the inside with a perfect crisp on the outside. I ordered the Fettuccine Alla Bolognese, which was absolutely delicious. The pasta had a fresh, homemade taste, and the Bolognese sauce was rich with flavor and had just the right amount of meat. My husband had the Pappardelle Salsiccia and loved it as well—another dish where the homemade pasta really stood out.
I also had the Anita which was similar to a mango margarita, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced. For dessert, we shared the Torta Cioccolato e Nocciola, a rich chocolate cake layered with hazelnut cream and crunchy hazelnuts, topped with a drizzle of chocolate. The bottom layer had a wafer-like crunch that added a delightful texture.
We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend for a romantic night out or special occasion!
