The unbelievable taste of Champy’s is the result of 40 years of family secrets and Mississippi Delta magic. We fry every tender, breast, thigh, wing, and leg right when it’s ordered so every bite is hot, fresh, and filled with unbelievable flavor. That same love and craft goes into the legendary side items and desserts that we make by hand every single day. Although known for our fried chicken, don’t miss out on cajun classics and full daiquiri bar to make you feel like your back in the big easy. Throw in a fun, kid-friendly atmosphere, a round of your favorite beverages, and you’ve got everything you need for a meal to remember.

We went on a Thursday night before the Predators hockey game. The service was excellent. Whether it was the server, bartender or someone just running food out, every single person asked us if we needed anything before walking away and seemed to truly enjoy working there. The food was incredible. We got the fried pickle spears. So good and could have been a meal alone! We also got fried chicken and crawfish étouffée and it was so yummy! Portions are large so come hungry! I already want to go back and try their other items.

Honestly, we were headed to another restaurant but there was a line out the door and an hour wait. So we came here. The food was amazing. I thought tamales were a weird choice given the theme of the rest of the menu. But they were great! The fried catfish and fried chicken were perfect as well.

Busy sports bar vibes, but with friendly service and good food. Food came out quickly which was great since we were in a rush!

We had the Mississippi tamales for an appetizer – nothing to write home about there. Our chicken tender platter entree was great and the size of the tenders was unexpectedly big!

I went here late Monday evening near 9PM. I’m on a New England Coach Tour of Nashville from NH. The Mississippi Delta Catfish Platter was excellent. French Fries were perfect. The Coleslaw was not to MY liking, but I’m from New England – where many restaurants put a touch of Pineapple Juice in the Coleslaw to make it a touch sweeter. But, that’s to my Personal taste. Abi was great – she brought me multiple cups of coffee with numerous half&half creamers.

We can’t really rate the atmosphere because we Doordashed. The food was excellent and the portions were generous. It’s hard to find hot tamales. It’s been years since I’ve had them. My husband loved his chicken livers which I don’t eat

This was a great place. Loved the atmosphere and our waitress was knowledgeable and also just fun to talk to. The food was inexpensive and done well. I enjoyed Champy’s much more than the Hattie B’s. Had a fried chicken and a gumbo.

The food at Champy’s was delicious and crispy! I ordered the three chicken tenders with fries and mac and cheese. The fries were perfectly cooked and Champy’s sauce had a small kick to it. Overall, the service and food were excellent.

I’ve been wanting to try Champy’s for a while, so I ordered the chicken livers today. Unfortunately, the smell of the food was extremely harsh. It wasn’t that the livers were oily, but it seemed like the oil they were fried in had a very strong, unpleasant odor that soaked into the food.

When I picked it up and got into my car, the smell was so strong that I assumed it would fade, so I waited. Even after I got home, the smell was still just as bad and honestly made me feel nauseous. I didn’t feel safe eating it, so I ended up throwing the whole order away.

They also didn’t include any sauce. The portion size was generous, but based on this experience, I would not recommend this place.

Champy’s Nashville absolutely knocked it out of the park for our team dinner. From start to finish, everything was above and beyond excellent. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared across the board. The drinks were just as impressive, with great options and spot-on execution.

The location has an awesome vibe that’s both lively and comfortable, making it perfect for a group dinner. What truly set the experience apart, though, was the service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and incredibly accommodating, making sure our entire group felt taken care of without ever feeling rushed.

This was hands-down one of the best team dining experiences we’ve had. Huge thanks to the Champy’s Nashville team for an unforgettable night—we’ll absolutely be back
