La Botana is a gem in Riverview, FL. We were served via their drive-in window. We waited under 10 minutes for 6 items. The woman who took our order was incredibly friendly and helped us navigate the menu as she noticed we were clearly not native Spanish speakers and the menu was in Spanish. Without her help, we would have missed a lot of great items. Pro tip: show the photos of what you want while ordering, and be open to trying something new! Hot Cheetos elotes was on my bucket list & now I’ve tried it 10/10 would go again!

Came in for the first time today and was a little too early but I still got to walk out with my Mangoneada! Which was very FRESH and DELICIOUS!! Not overly sweet or artificial taste at all. Will definitely get my Mexican snack fix at this place from now on!

To the new owners of the establishment. I understand that you guys are barely starting and today was your first day. Please, please at least taste the product you guys are serving to the customers and maybe you guys will realize how bad the product you guys are currently serving is. If your blender is currently not working properly then just dont use it and stop serving cubes of ice in the Mangonadas, or any other beverage that requires smoothies. Another point, please have people doing the orders that actually know what are they doing instead of just winging it and hope for the best. I wish you guys the best in this new journey but take care of business in your menu before you start serving people a bad product.

Had an elote and it was amazing I had like 4 but then I came back and ordered some PLAIN TORTILLA CHIPS(which it’s not rocket science to just fry some tortillas) they were four dollars and I received a decent amount.Until this agitating gut wrenching taste hit my mouth….paint…I could taste the place in the food.Like yk when someone’s food taste like there house??It was so repulsive I couldn’t even have a second one just wanted to eat my pineapple salsa.

I had went to La Botana this past Saturday 9/19 with a friend and ordered food and fruit and I saw the old guy touching the money and preparing food with the same gloves on ! He even went to the restroom and came out with the same gloves !!! This is gross ! I use to love coming here I even took my friend here and was so embarrassing. When I walked in and wanted to sit at the table it was sticky most of them were sticky and dirty like no one clean them after customers ate there . I no longer will be returning. This place gone down the drain ! I’m sorry for posting this but people need to know and I hope the owners also keep this place in check . FYI please check how they also leave the chemicals next to the food ! I hope no one gets sick from all this !
