Warm, relaxed bistro serving contemporary French cuisine & wine in a historical stone building.

We sat outside last weekend and enjoyed French onion soup, a glass of wine, and a warm apple tart. Oh my gosh, everything was perfect! I love this soup – and try it wherever I go. This was, by far, the best I have had. Make sure you try it if you visit. The waitstaff was so friendly and the prices were reasonable. It really seemed like I was in Paris again, for a few moments anyway. It was my first time there, but it won’t be my last!

What a treat! Everything was delightful. French bistro food in bountiful servings. Chef Erik takes no short cuts in picking his ingredients and preparing the food. We enjoyed every bite! For appetizers we had their French onion soup, mussels and shrimp bisque. They ran out of the bone marrow appetizer so we’ll be coming back for that. For main course we had their steak, their bistro burger, osso buco like dish and shepherd’s pie. For dessert we had the blueberry pie, crepes and all time favorite crème brûlée that is made to perfection. Wine selection is great and they are good in recommending what’s the best wine to pair with your dish. Want a coffee just like they have it in Europe? This is the place. Chef Erik takes the time to talk to his patrons, can explain how he picked his coffee beans and the story behind every dish. The pride in his work and perfecting his cuisine is evident. Can’t wait to go back!

I enjoyed dinner here with my younger son. We ordered a French-style burger and French-style pie. We also tried their crème brûlée. The food was really delicious. Although it was a bit expensive ($25 for a burger), it was worth it if you love French cuisine, as I do.

Have been wanting to try this restaurant but always couldn’t get a table. Finally tried twice, both times were great, duck confit was really good, crispy skin, meat was very tender, fell off the bone. Steak was great too. Crêpes were a bit disappointed, quite thick. Another time tried the stew, was very delicious too.

Chef Erik and his team have a wonderful French restaurant on a corner in Stamford. There’s a very cheap parking lot right next to the restaurant.
From the second you walk in, you’re greeted and taken care of by the staff. Chef Erik also takes the time to walk around the tables, interact with guests, and even serve them drinks. It’s not very often you come across an owner and executive chef that does everything in the restaurant! The hospitality was some of the best I’ve ever had.
I ordered a burrata, NY strip with peppercorn sauce medium rare, and an asparagus risotto. The burrata was delicious and the steak was cooked to perfection! My partner said that the risotto was the best she’s ever had! Chef Erik personally came by to make sure everything was to our liking.
I can’t speak highly enough about this establishment.

Yum! We had a lovely meal here. As someone who grew up 30 minutes from the French border, this tasted just like home. We all had different dishes, which we loved. The chocolate mousse was some of the best I’ve had in the US!

Truly a taste of France. Chef Eric creates beautiful, fresh seasonal menus. Brunch, lunch, dinner. Small plates, salads and lentils, main courses. Full bar and attentive staff. Meet the Chef as he greets every customer with a handshake and smile. Park in the $5 paid lot and enjoy Stamford all day.

This was overall a good experience, the sole meuniere was especially good! The onion soup looked great but the broth was tasting strange and very sweet, so did the crouton and the spread they give as a starter… awful! The Frangelico cheesecake wasn’t as good as expected. It was a nice meal but too pricey for the taste.

Such a delightful experience! The ratatouille and the mushroom gnocchi was truly great! For dessert – the chocolate mousse is my favorite

My wife and I ordered the shepherds pie and NY strip steak. They both tasted great and were cooked well. We ate crepes and the flan for dessert. The flan was perfectly made and warm.
