This place is secret place that everybody should know about. It is a wonderfully small place with chairs that remind me of old elementary school chairs and you sit down menus always at a table. Then you pick feom assortment of breakfast and lunch food items, My wife and I try to go up there a couple times a week. Definitely more than a couple times a month. I can update pictures with food and etc. But it is such a value for the community to have a spot like this. I would say that this is now an institution rather than just a place.

This place was great. It doesn’t seem to be in the best part of Worcester but worth the trip. As soon as you walk in your greeted with a friendly how are you today. We sat at the bar. The waiter came right over with coffee and asked if we’d like anything else to drink. Came back and took our order. I got an omelette with cheese and grilled English muffins. My wife got a turkey club. My food was awesome. She also loved hers. The price was incredibly cheap but everything else was not. If you’re looking for good cheap breakfast this place is a must. Make sure to leave a good tip since the cost of the food is so cheap and the service is awesome.

The food was great, the place is ran by this one old lady who was very sweet and friendly. Food came out quickly, keep in mind it is one person I can see service being slower if alot of people show up so practice patience. The prices are unbelievable great too no one should every dare to complain. It’s breakfast and it’s great!

We went here for breakfast last weekend, and we’re happy we did. A little hole in the wall older style diner with friendly service and food was absolutely delicious! One woman does all the cooking, so be patient, but it’s worth it. The prices are amazing and not even close to any other place we have been to. My husband had a tomato, spinach, and feta omelet comes with home fries and toast and a side of hash. I had a cheese omelet, and it also comes with home fries and toast and a side of bacon. We each had a drink, and the total bill was $15.25, unbelievably worth it.

I have been to many diners and really respect going to family owned places. This place has 4.5 stars so i went there while in town for a breakfast first impression wasnt welcoming at all we sat ourselves down,while sitting i was looking around and the place seemed extremely run down, waitress was nice but food was terrible , bland tasting, presentation was very poor put on your plate and go feeling, pancakes were wet and extremly under cooked, i politely brought this to the waitresss attention but was brushed off, i wasnt looking for free food or even a discount just simply a make it right but got nothing despite all of the above i still payed and left a tip. I personally wouldnt recommend this place. The menu is very small with not much variety,the seating is school seats with some benches,tables were dirty but didnt realize this at first glance. Yes it is right off the highway which is convienient but if u got the extra time spend your money elsewhere at a more welcoming diner. Im not one to write bad reviews unless my experience is actually bad. I hope that i can save someone some time and effort

Do you miss the days when you could stop in a local breakfast place and get a massive plate of food for $5 while sitting on a spinny stool at an old Diner counter? Then you have GOT to go to Jean’s Place! This place is NO frills. It looks exactly the same as it did when I was a kid. The decor is non existent. You’re not getting ambiance here, but you’re getting welcomed and treated like a friend. The place was full of regulars but we were welcomed immediately by Jean and felt right at home.
Jean does everything by herself during the week. EVERYTHING, folks. She was taking orders, cleaning tables, checking people out, getting to- go orders ready, cooking, refilling coffee… it’s just her doing it all. If you are expecting fast service or you have somewhere to be, consider going elsewhere. If you have patience, you will get an absolutely unbelievable price for your food, a delicious, hot cup of coffee, and genuine kindness from Jean even though she is busy busy!
2 huge plates of breakfast, pancakes, 1 coffee and 1 cup of tea was around $15. I honestly have no idea how she stays in business but I’m so glad she is! We will be back!

I always want to explore local restaurants and Jean’s place immediately caught my attention by having so many good reviews and nice prices/menu. This is what I got for a less than $5 take out. The lady running this place is very nice, too. By the way, you see muffins and cookies at the counter.

My First time, loved it. Great place, Food is awesome and low prices.
Sunny side Eggs were cooked perfect, nice runny yolk. Home fries were excellent and not overly seasoned.
Triple decker was also excellent and the the fries were some of the best I had (l like plain fries)
