Truly some of the best food and atmosphere in the area. The Caesar salad is a knockout, reminds me of my mother’s recipe (this is a huge compliment… see my photo!) Also the shrimp burger is one of the best I’ve ever had. The chef doesn’t skimp on flavor, dressing, sauces— you name it. High quality food and ingredients through and through. The vibe of this restaurant is fantastic: good music on the speakers (not too loud,) warm cozy cool atmosphere with wonderful bartenders and excellent service and attitude. HIGHLY recommend.

LOVE this place ! I’ve come to this fine restaurant many times while visiting my daughter who lives in town. Everything from the shrimp cocktail to the cheeseburger is just excellent. The woman behind the bar serves delicious cocktails including a maraschino cherry Manhattan… out of this world. This is the perfect stop for a bite and a drink whether you’re coming with your whole family, just stopping through on your way to somewhere else, visiting the area, or on a date. Mama Bonz gives two thumbs up for this lovely and delicious river side restaurant !

Spent most of my day here on Saturday, what a blast. Service was great, bartender and waitress were so patient, polite, and really go the extra mile for you! What a sophisticated little menu they got here; everything on it has such BIG flavors. All items on the menu are super fresh and from local purveyors, NOT FROZEN! Multiple gluten free and vegetarian options on the menu, something for everyone.
All I can say is YUM. I highly recommend, they switch up their menu weekly so there’s always something new to try .

Found this spot randomly on google maps and had a great time here on a Saturday evening. Fantastic cocktails (get the Blood Moon), great people and positive vibes all around. They had a DJ playing disco, soul, reggae and house.

Every time I have been in person or ordered out has been a wonderful experience. All the staff and servers are friendly and willing to help. The food is always delicious and their rotating menu never diappoints. Plus, it’s a great way to try out new things! Their cocktails and new mocktails are so yummy! All around 10 out of 10. Quality food, service and atmosphere. Cant go wrong.

We had such a great time at the Barryville Oasis! We went years ago when it was Mexican and felt the food was average for the area. However, the food tonight was spectacular, we ended up ordering more than we needed just to try more dishes- and everything was stupendous, relatable but also interesting. Much better than other local options. We got eggplant parm, veggie chili, latkas, and chorizo with chickpeas and ricotta, and a peach bread pudding. The server, Leah, was so kind, playful with our kid and thoughtful. There was great live music, a mix of blues and country by the great Jake Mosca. Also, it was 10F outside and the place was warm and had a wood stove burning. We can’t wait to return.
I should note, I had not seen a recent menu online, so note that menus may be seasonal, so don’t expect to plan your meal in advance. But we welcome the surprises and are excited to see what the chef comes up with next!

Excellent NEW restaurant! New owners and chef as of February 2025 and everything is incredible. My go-to’s are the Caesar Salad and Japanese style fried chicken. Erika behind the bar makes a mean cocktail and Curtis is always serving up the best food around.

Used to be the most awesome Mexican food I had eaten in a long time. The Food used to be made fresh. Great atmosphere and found this place on accident. Definitely will go back next time in the area. Don’t be fooled the food is awesome!!

New Owners, opened late, awful food. The Awesome Tacos are gone! Same decor just dirty now and rude staff/ owners. Garage Doors were closed but more bugs inside than people. I couldn’t wait to return on my visit to the area, just to be let down completely. I’m sure new owner will respond nasty like they have done to others and I usually don’t give bad reviews but they don’t care about customers AT ALL, it seems ! I WILL NEVER GO BACK EVEN IF I WAS PAID TO!! As others have stated in their reviews, we are allowed to give honest opinions in our reviews under the constitution, but seems like you ask whoever is responding to these reviews for the Oasis and you are supposed to accept all bad food and service without question . Used to be my favorite place in the area but just awful now.

Curry fries were out of this world!! Fried chicken, pork chop also killer. Love the shrimp on brioche too. Fun spot to sit at the bar and have a martini.
