We accidentally ran across Boon’s Saloon at lunchtime, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Kay was the bartender, and she was great. I had the jalapeño burger, and it surpassed my expectations. My work partner had a spicy chicken wrap, and he gave it 5 stars.
My phone was at 1%, and one of the other patrons had a cable, and Kay had a charger, so I could charge my phone during lunch. Great people.
The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that this place isn’t within driving distance from my house so I could enjoy a drink with them.
Word is they were second place for the fish fry competition last year. They serve fish all week long instead of only Friday. I highly suggest you try it out.
When I travel that way again, I will definitely stop in again.

Thankyou so much for your terrible service and if you cant handle people being unhappy about paying 18 for perch that is literally just breading bc u guys over cooked it and I was nice waited 15 min for my food to sit in front of me while the bartender went to everyone else but me…thankyou. then came back to resolve the situation and manager was mean who ever he was!!! If you say thats perch then you got it all wrong! Im sure ppl want dry over done fish! Get a fiffirent proffession bc this obviously is not it..

Went here on a whim and was quite impressed! The prime rib was tender and had less fat than usual! Best part was the root beer off tap, it came out super cold and carbonated! Our server was fast and punctual!

We had the Deep Fried Chicken with homemade mash potatoes and gravy, it was beyond delicious! The bartender/waitress was so on point and super attentive even though she was busy! I can’t say enough about the flavor of the chicken!!! Perfection!

Not sure what the deal was. The bartender seemed to busy visiting and the food was overcooked and no flavor. I’ve been told this place has great food so I will have to try it again in the future. Might have been just a bad day

We were here for Friday fish fry. It was so busy there were only two parking spaces left in the lot. Eek! We walked in and the hostess told us there would be a 10 minute wait….6 if they worked fast. We were seated in 4 minutes!!! Believe it or not, the service got even better after that!!!! Please try this local establishment. Great food and the baby red potatoes are the best you have ever had. Thanks, Boones, not our first time….won’t be our last. Keep up the good work!
