Delish! Working my way through the menu and so far everything (roti, oxtail, Callaloo, macaroni pie) has been tasty and fresh. Definitely my new go to Trini spot.

The employees attitudes are bad. Whoever said “you know their food is good when they have an attitude” needs to stop because that’s completely false. The potato they have for their roti lacks flavor and tasted watery. They did not get my order right by giving me a hard, stale buss up when I asked for roti skin. They won’t be getting a next dime from me.

Originally I ordered bake & fried shark. Beef roti, phlourie 2 banana solo 1 cream 1 kola.
They called me and said only bake & saltfish or herring & They only have cream, grape, orange drinks .
I didn’t really like how it taste. It’s to hard. The best thing was the phlourie

The Caribbean flavors for a fraction of the price. I’ve been to this location three times so far, and I’m pretty satisfied with the food offered. I’m vegetarian and they have plenty of options for me to choose from. Most recently I got Rice & Peas (great flavor!) and Dhal. Would recommend if you’re in need of a flavorful and inexpensive breakfast/lunch.

Today the 9th February 2025 , I went to Bake&Things I bought 8roti skins and 2 Buss up shot, 2 doubles . That roti was from Saturday or Friday, it was hard, oily, stale and HORRIBLE . I called the shop immediately and spoke to the owner/manager. The lady said it was not , but she was lying. At least they could have given it to me for half price. It was like $3.00 each ,the doubles was ok ,not great ,the busses up shot was HORRIBLE too . Their grade is a 10% out of a 100, tasteless .

Great little establishment with great ambiance. The employees were welcoming and respectful. It felt like you were back in the Caribbean and at the restaurant ordering food.
I visit this restaurant to get food every time I’m in the neighborhood.
I would highly recommend it to friends and family.

Another Trinidadian restaurant in Brooklyn. The food is good the place is nice and clean and very colorful and creatively decorated. Great work! Inside is a little small for the crowd this place draws so be prepared to get close to other customers. We wanted to order ten plain bussups, but it wasn’t allowed we were told to order over the phone. Even though we just called and were told to come in and order. Despite the miscommunication we got five bussups. For whatever reason they had ten, but couldn’t sell it to one customer and make more.

The food is great but I go for the breakfast. Especially if I’m going to be on the road, I must stop to get a fried bake and saltfish or even with shark. I always stop there when I’m in Brooklyn. See you soon

The food here is delicious. Their Trinidadian cuisine is one of the best I’ve had in Brooklyn. If you love Trini food, you will appreciate their authentic style. The place is always seemingly crowded. Finding a park to get in can be somewhat of a challenge because drivers await parking outside of store until another car moves, so they can go in. With that said, you know the food must be causing a good commotion. I think the high traffic of customers may cause some to think the workers are rude, when in fact, they’re really just striving to service everyone promptly and keep up to speed. I haven’t had a bad experience with customer service. It’s a small shop, so getting orders done promptly seems to be the goal. Bake & Things comes THROUGH with the oxtails, oildown, doubles, shrimp, curry crab with dumplings and some other fave dishes.

the food is good but the customer service is horrible. The male cashiers are way nicer than the woman, most of the women are usually rude, stush, rolling their eyes or talking with an attitude like they don’t want to be there. There is one darkskin female cashier with glasses that’s pleasant, but for the most part absolutely disgusting & don’t let you go there in the morning. Lord, they look at you like “why are you here”. I get It, It can be a demanding job with people, talking all day, repeating the same thing, on your feet. I get It, but I kind of don’t. A smile don’t cost nobody nothing, you never know who’s who & who does what these days.
