Tried Algarve for the 1st time since the new owner took over. Food overall was great, service was debatable. A little frustrating when the server doesn’t speak or understand English or Portuguese, but the wine helped us manage. ♂️ I got the Filet Mignon on Special and it was really good. Cooked well and the sauce was tasty. I must say the rice is really, really good. My buddy got the apple version mignon and was happy as well. Wife got the Chicken Mozambique and said it was okay. Friends GF got the cod fish braz and was happy. The Calamari was okay, crunchy, a little fishy, not the best I’ve had. The fresh cheese and pimenta was much better. Place was definitely on the pricey side, so be prepared. Dropped $240 for 4.

Worst first impressions of a restaurant. Right from the start everything was a disappointment. We have high hopes considering all of the positive reviews, and it failed to meet them even in the slightest.
For starters it took 15 minutes for the waitress to take our drink order. There is no kids menu at all. Bread was stale. The prices are high end for sure, and sub par food. My husband ordered the Azorean steak well done and it came out medium. Rice was unflavored. The fries were horrible l. I ordered the stuff salmon and I can’t even tell you how it was because my plate never came out. After 25 minutes after my husband received his plate I told the waitress I no longer wanted my meal and to kindly take it off the bill. She apologized sincerely and it’s not her fault I understand. Someone in the kitchen failed and now I have written off Algarve as a one and DONE. Never again. What a shame.

WOW. First time experiencing portugues style food and ot was amazing. I got Ghalina ą Moćambique. It was a chicken seared with Mozambique sauce with fries and rice. It was phenomenal. My girlfriend got chicken Alfredo with shrimp on the side instead ot inside her pasta she was very happy. The juice based drinks are great too. Pineapple and dragon fruit. Paula out waitress was super sweet and even others were willing to help. 10/10 honestly. I recommend and will come again next time I visit. 4 people total after tax was just over $100. About $25-$30 per person for lunch.

It took 20 minutes for a soda and a cocktail. 5 people in the restaurant. After a half hour, we had to ask for our soup. Twenty minutes later our meals come out. We ordered medium steak and they both came out well well done. Salty too. The owner said sorry! For the price, don’t go there, they are not a High End Restaurant on County st. We gave the meals to the two that was cracked out , outside in front of the restaurant. At least they were grateful. Will never be back there. Never

This was our 3rd visit to this Buffet. First time it was ok some of the food was just alittle cold. We got up front parking and when ready 2 leave we ask the manager 2 help find who was parked behind us 2 move, that took 10 minutes. 3 weeks later we decided 2 try it again this time we parked across the street. The food was warm and had a different selection from the last time which was a little bit nicer. 3 time we decided 2 go later 2 enjoy the music. Had 2 park around the corner. Food was hot and everything was Excellent, so was the entertainment. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and definitely will be returning. The only problem they have is parking. Oh and now they have new owners I just hope they Don’t change Anything.

The food is a hit or miss. Some times its the best around and other days it could be so much better. Last time we were there it was Mother’s day. We ended up spending just about 3 hours there. Mostly waiting. The food was good but not for my whole party. We would like to see them step up a little more and actually have their waitresses pay attention to what people are ordering and requesting. Also the bill was over charged. We had 11 people with us 5 of them which were children. No way did we spend what we did when they came around with the check. But we said nothing and paid it. Which sucks but we honestly wanted to just get out of there. Like i said 3 hours there i was ready to go. I had my 1yr old with me and being 9 months pregnant I wasnt trying to sit there any longer.
