An outstanding seafood experience! This is a small restaurant with a short menu, but the quality is exceptional. The chef personally came out with the fresh catch of the day and explained each dish, which made the whole experience special. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, and they took great care to ensure the food was safe for both our toddler and a pregnant family member. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a truly memorable meal. Highly recommended!

Very welcoming and kind staff, everything just felt super professional, the food was brilliant. They have a smaller menu which means, all the dishes are perfected. We tried their so called pine appetizer, a mix of different things with veggies and fish and cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious. The tuna tartare was amazing!!! And finally, spaghetti with lobster…fantastic. They also have a lovely wine selection. We loved our dinner experience here, and they were also super sweet with our toddler who ran around all the time. Highly recommend booking a table, not sure you’ll have a spot without one. We booked our table few hours before going on a Thursday, right at their opening time (7pm) and the place was full within minutes.

We enjoyed a delightful meal here on our first night in Ortigia. We had the mixed appetizer plate, which gives you a chance to try several of the local specialties. And we chose the lobster spaghetti for 2, which has a very light fresh tomato sauce. Tiramisu for dessert. All very nicely done, all with fresh local ingredients.

A hidden gem in Syracuse! With a powerful husband and wife duo, from beginning to end. The welcoming atmosphere was amazing and the food, superb with no equal since living in Sicily. Just this restaurant alone is enough for me to keep coming back to Ortigia. Although tucked away, it is worth going to if you are ever in the area.

Great fresh food and amazing service. Very intuitive service – knew we would like to share dishes when we asked and recommended fabulous (but not expensive wine). Try the mixed antipasti – and seafood spaghetti- also the courgette and almond crusted sea bass. All delicious.

Such a nice restaurant! We came here celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday with my family. Francesco was super nice, we organized it all through WhatsApp and him and his wife did a fantastic job! Food was excellent ! Definitely recommend:)

Atmosphere:
Almost perfect dining experience but for 2 things.
We can walked in on an August evening without reservation and were accommodated by the owner/maitre de. This is a small family owned and run restaurant. Husband manages the front and wife is the chef.

Food: This restaurant serves FRESH seafood if that’s what you’re craving for in Ortigia. We ordered the mixed appetizer and it was amazing. 10/10! For main course, we had vegetarian pasta (not on the menu) and whole Red Snapper prepared Sicilian style (steamed w capers, olives and tomatoes). This dish was 8/10 only because the fish was not properly descaled. Taste and presentation were great.

Service: 8/10
Our server wasn’t attentive beyond dropping off the food. The owner came once to check on us after the appetizer was served. I had to get up and ask for some salt and pepper.

Price: Bit on the high side. €48 for the whole snapper. Our total tab with 3 dishes, water and a glass of of wine was €100.

Very welcoming family of the owners, Francesco is very attentive to the guests, waitress seemed a bit distant and less hospitable. We ordered mixed appetizer, tuna steak and grilled fresh catch of the day fish, everything was excellent.
