I decided to try to support a local black business that I saw on Facebook last night. Specifically because they had one dollar fish Thursdays. I spoke to one of the owners on Facebook and he said that their hours were from 9-3 M-W and 9-7. I’m very disappointed in my experience and will not be quick to return again.
I ordered 15 pieces of catfish a large okra and a large Mac and cheese. The sides were 7 dollars a piece and the fish was 1 dollar. I also got a 5 dollar chicken wing combo.
I was told that their truck didn’t come in today and that they only had 9 pieces of catfish and would I like whiting or tilapia instead neither of which I wanted. I chose whiting since I already paid. The boxes I received said perch and whiting.
You can decide for yourself if the amount I received was worth the value. I’ve come to the conclusion that you get what you pay for, or not for that matter.
It’s not a place to go sit down and eat, at least I didn’t see anywhere.
If you’re looking for a cozy spot for the family, this ain’t that. When I do reviews I take pictures and videos so that other customers can see exactly what they’re about to go and spend their hard earned money on, but apparently the owners here didn’t appreciate that. I wonder why?

First time here. Wanted to try the fish. So I came on the Thursday $1 special. I got the burger. It was very tasty. Paid for lettuce and got salad greens instead. Ordered rice and Mac and cheese. Rice I had to throw it away. Was not cooked. Mac and cheese I could have gotten better from a box of Kraft. The combo of pork chops supposed to come with fries and a drink. Per the menu board from inside of the restaurant. Clerk told us that drinks are not included. A young girl was left alone trying to fill orders. Owner came back about 10 mins before they closed. Advising myself and another personal that we should come earlier next time. We ordered at 6:10 and finally got our food at 7:30pm. I love to support our brothers and sisters, but I am sorry I will not be coming back. I came from Hilliard. Says a lot who supports our people!!

This was my first time here. The outside and order/waiting area needs to be remodeled ASAP. You order through the kiosk which is okay since it’s a carey out only restaurant. I got the pork chop breakfast with scrambled eggs and rice. The pork chops were moist/tender, seasoned good, and fried excellent. If you eat pork, try the pork chops. When I placed my order the staff came out and acknowledged me and was friendly. The music that they played was a nice vibe.

I love it here it’s so convenient right across from my apt so I’m here everyday and at 8 months pregnant the food is always good and i never have a problem i love the food you should come try it out, they specials u cant beat either trust me i know i everyday is a special and it’s good budget and way to feed the house.

First time trying this place ..I got a smashed potato and pork chops dinner ..the smashed potato I enjoyed . With the prokchop dinner I got fried rice and okra . The rice was flavorful and the pork chop was very good .I would recommend and I will be back

I ordered a perch dinner with baked Mac n cheese and green beans and I also ordered a perch sandwich on a bun and paid extra for banana peppers. I received what appears to be boxed Mac n cheese and they didn’t have perch. I asked for a refund because I didnt want whiting or tilapia. I was told I had to come back in three hours for the refund to be issued. Not happy about that but Fine. I waited for my order and was pissed off bc my fish sandwich was nothing more than two pieces of whiting on two pieces of white bread. I’m very disappointed.
