Heather was our waitress and she was amazing. The food, the atmosphere was warm, inviting and I honestly cannot remember a dinner the I enjoyed every bite. I had the special with the pork chop, hubby had the butternut squash ravioli. They started us off with a crostini with cream fresh pears and basil pecans, to die for. Then after dessert we had chocolate mint macarons. Highly recommend if you are staying at Big Cedar lodge or just visiting. Thank you Heather for taking your time with us and making it a special anniversary dinner.

Food great, service excellent. For whatever reason, the area we were seated in had seats that were too low for the tables. We felt like little children trying to eat our steak dinner. Far from ideal. The duck fat fries were way underdone and we sent them back and when they came back to the table they were closer to burned on the outside and still underdone in the middle. Our server took them off, which was fine, but really looked we really looked forward to those fries with our steaks.

Courteous, engaging and excellent staff! The food was prepared perfectly, the drinks were excellent and the ambiance was warming and pleasant. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace during our short wait in the lobby. The service staff were very cordial and welcoming. My wife’s alpha gal food allergy was handled without hesitation and the entire experience was delightful. The live entertainment was also a bonus; low key acoustic melodies perfect for the occasion. Our dinner was an unforgettable and wonderful experience. We can’t wait to return!

We enjoyed our dining experience at Worman House Bistro. The service was exceptional. The food was amazing. The Bistro itself was beautiful. I loved the setup and decor. We also loved the entertainment for the evening. He did an excellent job and even took requests. We will definitely dine there again when we are back at Big Cedar.

Out of this world experience! From the perfect service to the sunset to the doggie box —it rivaled our French Laundry experience— We celebrated my wife’s birthday and chef was in-the-zone amazing! We split the crab cake, jumbo shrimp, chicken cutlets and the heirloom burrata salad was delicious The staff all signed a birthday card, they even split our cocktail(s)! Who does that!? They also gave us a set of sparkling wine flutes.
Desert —YES get some. We will return.

We can’t say enough about Worman House! From the moment we arrived, we felt special. It was my birthday, and they gave us a great table by the windows with a beautiful view. We were given samples of a delicious champagne, and then I was given a flute for my birthday. We sampled some delicious amuse bouche from the chef, and our dinners were out of this world! My husband had a terrific old fashioned, and he also ordered the vanilla soufflé for dessert. I received a birthday dessert as well. Overall, we were made to feel so special, and the staff took amazing care of us. We love Worman House and will be back!
