I was really excited to try their pupusas because where I live you cannot find them there. I had a really young server she was great, the bean dip that they had as an appetizer was absolutely delicious. I ordered the pupusas for myself and a cheese quesadilla for my daughter. The pupusas themselves the masa was pretty dry and it made the whole pupusa dry as well I also think that they left it on the grill a little too long and there was no cheese in the middle. On the other hand my daughter’s quesadilla was absolutely delicious the rice and beans paired beautifully.

Authentic Latin American and Mexican food, you’ll love this place!
I can’t explain enough how much I enjoy eating here. The portions are huge (don’t expect a regular-sized burrito or a tiny side dish), everything is really generous. From tacos to carne asada, seafood, and imported beers, everything is delicious.
It’s rare to find a restaurant that can offer such a wide variety of dishes, do them all well, and keep it truly authentic, but this place nails it. That’s why everyone keeps coming back: the food is great, real, and there’s something for everyone.

I came here specifically for the pupusas because I’m Salvadoran and was so excited to have some in Toledo. They were dry and bland. I give an extra star because the portions were good, but I just couldn’t eat them. Might be good for someone who has never had a pupusa, so they have nothing to compare it to.

Great new central American restaurant! Come for the pupusas and stay for their many other specialties. I especially like that they serve breakfast – I love the divorced eggs! They also have a liquor license and make a tasty michelada.
Food: fresh, homemade, and flavorful, with large portions and an interesting selection of items not available elsewhere in town. Many vegetarian options but not sure if they’re vegan
Atmosphere: The restaurant is clean and newly decorated, but the TV was a little too loud on one occasion.
Service: the servers are friendly and helpful but some speak mainly Spanish
Accessibility: good disabled parking but there is a small step to access, which could be an issue for wheelchairs. If that’s not a problem, the open floor plan otherwise makes this a good choice for those with disabilities.

Don’t let the looks of the building fool you. This is a 10 out of five, margaritas are amazing, fried plantains are not to be missed, any choice you make will be the best. The atmosphere was relaxing and homey, very welcoming. I can not express what a pleasure it was to eat here and the staff were the Best. Thank You

My first time eating here. I ordered the papusas which came with cabbage garnish and homemade salsa. Absolutely delicious, I’m so happy this place is near my work. Also, as far as I know it’s the only restaurant in the city serving authentic food from this region in Toledo. When I walked in it was obviously a family place, they were chilling at the restaurant in the booths. So we should all come together to support great food and a unique local business, I will be back for sure, honestly I can’t wait to try more of this food!

This is our 2nd time here. We like the tacos especiales with corn tortillas. I get chicken & my husband gets steak. The margaritas are also very good! Atmosphere is pretty quiet. It’s a small place & it’s family owned. Definitely coming back!
