10 out of 10! Small cafe but the food is superb! Ordered egg and bacon croissant – the croissant was nice a flaky! Ordered chicken panini and bacon and cheese bagel . Everything was delicious.
Also ordered the strawberry banana smoothie that was nice a fruity- so good!
Drip coffee and a latte. No complaints

A must see.

Extremely friendly staff and a great selection of food and drinks. My coffee and bacon egg and cheese croissant were great! Lots of items for sale by local artists and the atmosphere is very charming! This is a can’t miss spot if you’re a local or just passing through!

Java Moose in Fairplay is a cozy mountain coffee shop that feels like a local gem. The chalkboard menus are packed with great options, from classic lattes to creative seasonal drinks, and the bacon and sausage burritos hit the spot. Friendly staff, quick service, and a warm, welcoming vibe make it the perfect stop before exploring town or heading into the mountains. A must-visit for coffee and comfort food in Fairplay.

Great lil coffee shop! Super busy but employees were hustling and very nice, getting everyone thru line as quickly as they could. My matcha latte with oat milk was fab, hubs just got plain coffee and he said it was great. We enjoyed ours while sitting at the gazebo near the courthouse. Oh and I hope the guy in front of us that only tipped the girls $0.11 went back and gave them more later.

Save your money and go to Park Bar (better service, food and is cheaper).
Spent $70 on 3 sandwiches, a soda and and then $9 for a medium chai. Went to buy more au ju for the French dip and they said I’m afraid we get do that.

They gave a small amount of au jus for 2 halves of the sandwich that was dryer than ever (the bread was scratching the top of my mouth and then refused to sell us more…

I grew up coming here and am so disappointed.

I had the best chicken salad sandwich ever! No regrets with choosing the Sherman. I also had this pastry which looked like it had a million layers. So good I had to take a couple bites before I took the picture! What a nice place! Staff was kind.
You guys are awesome!

Great coffee shop in Fairplay. We decided for some lunch here and it was great. The staff were friendly, plenty of option of drinks and food, good atmosphere, and of course, really nice food! The sausage egg and cheese sandwich was just as awesome for a lunch before you depart the Fairplay town. Worth a bite to eat and drink here!

This is a cozy little place nestled just off of 285, and if you have the time to stop, I would highly recommend it.

I can’t speak to any of their lunch items, but their pastries are some of the best, and I’ve gotten them since I was a kid and every time I pass through.

The berry bar, and other pastries, are extremely tasty and made the way that pastries should be, with a whole lot of butter, sugar, and care. It’s one of those things where it tastes so good that you don’t care if it’s unhealthy. Make sure you get there soon after they open when the pastries are fresh and at their best!

Now, since this is a local business, you will pay a bit more than you might expect, but it is worth every penny I assure you. Service is with a smile and the whole place has a certain charm to it you won’t find at some Starbucks or Dunkin’.

They really need to wear some hair nets in this place….

26$ for a chicken panini with a bag of lays chips and a white chocolate frap is kinda insane, that’s over 12$ for a drink without adding anything?

My drink was okay, didn’t really blow my mind but my panini having four pieces of hair in it kinda really sank the ship for me

Flat bread itself lacked taste and came off as dry, spread and chicken was good though and my onions and tomatoes where fresh

I’d like this place more if prices are more fair and some food health safety was exercised
