Our lunch was nothing short of amazing yesterday. I had the chick witch sandwich and my mom had the brisket sandwich. We both thought they were delicious. Cole slaw was also great! Loved the potato salad too. Can’t wait until our travels take us back through St. Joe to visit again.

It’s such a great place “along the way” from Central Arkansas to Harrison or Branson. The decor was so cool with the old photos and vintage homestead pieces. The sliders were delicious, as was the smoked brisket sandwich with fried cabbage. The best was Chick Witch with the smoked pulled chicken with Swiss, remoulade, and tomato. We will stop again.

We’ve passed this place many times on our way north and usually it’s late so they’re closed. Today we we hit it right and were able to stop for lunch and sooo glad we did!!! First of all, I went in just expecting a “greasy spoon” type of small town café and hoped they had good food since that’s where you find the diamonds in the rough. The decor I can only describe as grandma’s kitchen table. Mismatch is the theme but in the best way possible. The meats are smoked right there so that’s the first aroma to hit you while the first thing you see are a plate of homemade cookies and a pan of fresh cobbler. You may be seated at a booth with a hand crocheted afghan across the back just like Grandma’s couch or a vintage table. If you’re over 50 the odds of getting served on a plate exactly like something from your childhood are pretty good. In fact, my blackberry cobbler came on my grandma’s plate, and my meal was on a plate similar to my mother’s ❤️ We got the sampler platter and everything was delicious and the service was nothing less than top notch! So glad we finally made the stop and now that we know, we’ll try harder to make the timing work to make it back again.

We had a delicious, delightful lunch at Big Springs Trading. A beautiful young lady was our server and I failed to get her name. My husband and I shared a BBQ sandwich, baked beans, and fries. We bought two delicious choc chip cookies for the road. We would definitely stop again.

Quaint old building with lots of country charm! Staff welcomed us, got our order to go quickly. Mismatched tables and chairs, booths and interesting art.
Second visit, dined in. Still great staff and food! Love this place ❤

We had a wonderful dining experience at Big Springs Trading Company! The ambiance was perfect for a date night. Our server was incredibly attentive and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the brisket and fried cabbage. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This was a great find on our travels to Hot Springs! Such a cute restaurant with a feel of home cooking and regular customers. We had amazing blackened catfish! The sides were also delicious. On our way out, we made a carryout purchase of smoked turkey and sausage. Hope to be back sometime!
