My bucket list includes having nachos in every state in the union! I’ve had nachos in many places and they all offer something unique. I appreciate the fact that I could get a half order of nachos as not every place allows that. When you’re sharing, it’s great to get a giant plate, however, when you’re on a 40 minute lunch break not so much. The chips were very crispy and lightly salted. The shredded chicken was tasty and flavorful. The guacamole was very unique and instead of being lumpy was quite smooth and creamy. Perfectly proportioned, I had enough cheese sauce and salsa to cover every chip. Overall the nachos or a yummy, delightful experience! My companion ordered a burrito and it came with a side of beans and rice. She had eaten there several times before and it was her favorite. This is my first time experiencing Taqueria Guadalajara, number two but it will not be my last.
The restaurants atmosphere was very relaxing and it was easy to find in the Safeway shopping center, off of Horizon Drive. The service was polite and friendly, and the entire restaurant, including the bathrooms, was spotless!

Great taqueria on Horizon dr. Food was fresh and delicious. I had a smothered burrito with adobada which is pork marinated in red chili sauce. This was not too spicy and full of flavor. The house made green sauce added some heat and was also tasty. There are several meat selections for tacos. The restaurant was clean on the service was good. Definitely returning.

Delicious street tacos that are not skimpy on the filling and at a good price point! There home made salsa elevates it, and has a good kick. Very friendly people and quick service- a highlight of Horizon Drive.

I really wanted to like this place as it looked clean inside with two other patrons eating at a table. The first two street tacos (carnitas & carne asada) were really good. Then I found hair or bristles from something in my last taco (Barbacoa) (see photo). Then carne asada burrito was just refried beans, rice & some meat (see photo). It is definitely not worth the $8.20 I was charged. Burrito was not wrapped well & fell apart when unwrapped from alum foil. It was after 7pm on a Tuesday (they close at 7:30) so maybe younger folks working were already checked out for the night. Just regret the 20% tip I provided on this to-go order based on my experience.

For over $10 I got what looked like a burrito from Taco Bell, took me about 4 bites to eat.
I honestly thought it was a joke at first, I literally had to get more food after eating it, what a scam.
And the taste was nothing special or authentic.
Food like this would get you run out of town in Tucson where I’m from, but apparently the gringos in Colorado don’t know any better.

Wonderful 2nd location, similar items to their other but with a few larger meals. Quick, delicious and a great spot to try. Several beer options available with a decent happy hour special.

Such great authentic tacos! I had a carne asada, a carnitas and a lengua and all were great but the carnitas was my favorite! Will be back soon to try more of their menu (especially excited to try their margarita!).
