as good as it gets for AYCE sushi, nice kitchen menu, pretty standard affair as far as these places go. been multiple times and occasionally the sashimi is very small but good quality. my last visit everything was on point and LARGE, definitely worth trying.

Been going here for some time now. Both takeout and eat in. It’s a good spot if you’re looking for sushi without breaking the bank like other places. I usually do the take out deal and when I call to pickup it’s always done relatively quick – no wait.

I have been getting sushi time since I was 14 years old an it’s been 10 years and I still go here multiple times a week. The food is absolutely amazing! The service is very great, everyone is very fast and nice. I always have a great experience when I eat here. Very quick pickup time as well when ordering out, my favorite restaurant by far, if you’re anywhere near Cranford and enjoy sushi I highly recommend sushi time and the filet mignon roll!!

This was first time trying all u can eat sushi. It was soooo good especially the sweet potatoe sushi …which I had doubted it at first …they have so many options and its all fresh. The main dish that i enjoyed the most was chicken stick which is like chicken teriyaki on a stick. I also had edamame and I havent had it in yearsssss … that was so good i couldnt stop eating it . _.

I was really looking forward to trying Sushi Time 898, but things went sideways fast. I have a serious avocado allergy, so I asked if they could leave the avocado out of my rolls. Simple enough, right? Apparently not – they wanted to charge me $1 per roll just to remove it.
A whole dollar… to take something out. I couldn’t believe it. I wasn’t asking for extra fancy toppings – just to avoid a potential trip to the hospital. The staff didn’t seem too concerned when I explained the allergy, which made the whole thing feel even worse.
Fine, I paid the extra dollar. But honestly, the sushi wasn’t anything special. It looked nice but tasted pretty average.
Then I made the mistake of using the bathroom. Let’s just say it could’ve used some attention – sticky floors, no soap, and not the cleanest vibe overall.
If you don’t have food allergies and can overlook a few details, maybe Sushi Time 898 is fine. But if you’re dealing with dietary restrictions, be ready to pay extra just to stay safe.
