The service at Boardwok was really good and everyone was friendly, which I appreciated. For me, the food just didn’t have as much flavor as I was hoping for. The portions were generous and definitely shareable, but overall I don’t think it’s worth the price.

If you’re in or around the Virginia Beach area, run, don’t walk, to BoardWok! This cute family owned business was a major highlight of our stay in VB. The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The Asian dishes we had were horrible, I ordered sweet and sour with fried rice, zero flavor on the batter and sauce, the fried rice had no egg in it?? Also ordered General two chicken.
The batter was nice and crispy that sauce was good but the chicken was too tough to eat as if it had been deep fried to death.

I was really unsure about this place and the location wasn’t easy to find. I must say that this place is AMAZING!!! The service was awesome and they had local food. There is such a variety of foods. Please try the crispy chips and sauces for an appetizer. I must say this place is a local jem and I will be going back again and again, GREAT JOB GUYS!!!

Nice location and it’s not your usual standard Chinese restaurant with the same menu you see everywhere in the country. The staff is friendly and service was quick. I took off 1 star because we had a takeout order and when we got back home, we found we were missing a veggie roll from one of the orders. Otherwise, we were satisfied with the place.

Got this for dinner on the recommendation from a coworker. My husband got the general tso chicken, subbing in fried rice for the plain white rice which costs a little extra and I got the combination lo mein. Overall, it tasted pretty alright. There wasn’t anything amazingly outstanding or negative about the food. It came out pretty quickly and the people seemed nice. I was a little disappointed with the food portion for the price compared to other Chinese places where they seem to pack in as much meat as the container will allow. Would I come back again? Maybe if they had a lunch deal.

They do not post prices. 18 dollars for a quart of wonton soup. 28 for shrimp tempura appetizer. They use the excuse prices going up,no soup is broth. I just find it disgusting gouging people like that.

Very welcoming as soon as you walk in. Place my order and they brought it right to me. Got in my car and couldn’t wait to take a bite! It was so freaking good. I had to go in and tell them how good it was before I left. AMAZING!!!!! Stop here if you get a chance
