Mac’s is an amazing place for music if you are into blues and jazz, and they get some pretty amazing bands. It is a bit of an older crowd, and a sociological experience for people watching. I would go just to watch people dance…there is a freedom here and people from all walks of life let it all go on the dance floor. Love!! The dance floor is always packed, as is Mac’s in general. If you want a seat, you absolutely have to arrive at the shows early…or you will be standing. The staff is extremely efficient, in spite of the fact that they are inundated with food/drink orders nonstop. Bar food is really good! Custom mac-n-cheese is a favorite.

The food and service were the poorest I’ve experienced in 40 plus years of dining out. The glazed salmon was thin, dry and overcooked. The glaze was black, had solidified, and was like eating taffy. We waited an hour for our entrees and they arrived at room temperature. The chicken entrees my wife and son ordered were also overcooked and dry and had been away from a heat source long enough to be cold on the palate. We waited twenty minutes for alcoholic beverages we had ordered from our waitress. We were patient and knew the waitstaff were busy. After that twenty minutes we asked about our drinks. They had been forgotten. We politely expressed our frustration with the dining experience and nothing was said or done to about it. The waitress said she was going talk to lead staff in the back, then returned with our bill having spoken with no one. The waitress said there was no one available to speak to. We paid our $140.00 unadjusted tab and went upstairs to our show. We had allotted plenty of time to dine and ended up arriving well after the band had started. We were seated for over two hours. Much of the time waiting for for cold, overcooked, and marginal food and a forgotten drink order. Our waitress was kind and tried to be helpful, but was completely overwhelmed and unsupported. This was our first visit to Mac’s. We were referred by friends and had looked forward to the experience. Very disappointed in our dining experience. I seldom leave critical reviews, but this 02/14/26 dining misadventure was beyond belief. Hopefully someone will see this review so our regrettable dining experience won’t be repeated.

Excellent music venue with loads of talented players every weekend. Awesome blues jam on Tuesdays. Great dance floor and lively atmosphere.

This place is so fun! My husband and I have been here a few times for various events. We have had a wonderful time every visit. We so enjoy the live music performances. It is a fun place to come and dance as well. It is far less intimidating than other venues.

Never been here before. There was a very relaxed chill atmosphere. The food was top notch, the chicken bacon club was absolutely worth it. I had a Mocktail as I don’t drink and that was excellent as well. The live music was great. Very friendly, attentive waitresses and bar staff. Would definitely go here again.

Came to Mac’s last night, to dance to my friends band, Heavy Chevy. I adore them, I adore Mac’s & I adore the food too. It was too hot inside, everyone was complaining. I wished that it hadn’t have been so hot. Other than that, it was awesome!
07-18-22 Came to Mac’s to watch my friends band, the great, Rock ‘n Rewind, play music on the lawn. They are just the most wonderful folks here & it was nice to finally get out & do something normal. I didn’t eat anything, but I still love it here.
Ok, after Covid update. New Menu. No pizza any longer. However, if you want the BEST wedge salad in this whole area. Please, try one here! Holy Cow, not only was it huge, but it was literally smothered in toppings. I actually ordered it with an extra, I added Smoked Salmon to it. It was made with half a head of lettuce! I kid you not, there’s no better Wedge Salad anywhere around here! My dining partner ordered a Cheeseburger & Tots.

If you order anything, PLEASE order the Thai Chicken Pizza! You will NOT find such an amazingly decadent flavor of pizza anywhere! My gosh, who knew that a restaurant, that’s not a pizza parlour would make such an indescribable mouth watering pizza! Even the 4 yr old & the 9 yr old, couldn’t stop eating it. Now that says A LOT. Try it, you’ll be hooked.

Outstanding staff, music & bar. Heard the band The Inner Limits when I went. Great music. Love what they stand for. Cool old building. They had dancing lessons going on the top floor too! Looks like fun!
