Glutonia’s bread delivery and in store items are both amazing. I’ve been signed up for their at home bread delivery for about six months now and I look forward to the weekly delivery each week. I recently had the opportunity to stop by their storefront and there’s so many delicious options, from pasties, light sandwiches to baguettes and loaves of sourdough. Glutonia is located in a great new and up and coming neighborhood of Boise.

Visited Glutonia on a Friday for the soup and bread. The cup of soup was the perfect amount with a generous chunk of baguette. The only seating is outside but the sun was out making it comfortable to sit outside.
On other visits I have tried the yummy pastries. Flaky goodness.
I also helped pick up a large baguette order that had the most delicious garlic butter spread applied. Highly recommend this for an occasion that requires garlic bread. They were also kind and provided a sample at pick up to keep me from succumbing to the wonderful, garlic and fresh bread smells.
Get in there and enjoy the creations!

The bread here is top notch as are the pastries. The soup they serve (with bread, of course!) is also delicious. I make my own bread at home, so I’m picky and I have no hesitation in recommending their bread and come here myself for baguettes since I haven’t yet mastered those.
The owners are also amazingly nice. Nicer than the bread, if that’s possible!

morning bun 7/10 (husband gave 9/10.. i have high MB standards and love a flakeyyyy bun.. the orange zest was a notable touch though)
almond croissant 8/10 (we loved but kinda wished it was “classic” and no chocolate)
ham and cheese 6/10 but potentially 7/10 if warmed
country loaf 10/10 ooooo yum
vibes 10/10
wished they could squeeze a couple indoor seats, but alas! weather will be warm soon 🙂

I highly recommend this bakery. I got the pistachio chocolate croissant and it was so delicious. The women that were working were so helpful and knowledgeable and gave great advice on how to eat our bread. I bought a country loaf and it was the softest and yummiest sourdough I’ve had. I can’t wait to go back, especially for lunch.

Glutonia is a great sourdough bakery! I love their sourdough loaves. The Pain au chocolat was delicious and very Parisian. The whole bakery just feels like walking into to a cute little patisserie in France. So excited to have Glutonia in the neighborhood!

Came here with my family on a Saturday afternoon. We got a little bit of everything. Their chicken & dumpling soup was AMAZING! Apple escargot AMAZING! Chocolate croissant AMAZING! Also they are so friendly & accommodating. Great food & service, can’t wait to go back.

What yummyness!!! Neat industrial look. Ladies working there were great!!! Friendly and knowledgeable!!! We had a morning roll, lemon roll and a pistachio roll. All three were wonderful great flavor. My morning roll was crispy outside, soft on the inside with cranberries and orange zest. To die for. We will return!! We each bought a original loaf of sour dough. Can’t wait to slice and bite lol.
